Villa Marina, Sol y Sal

The apartment was spacious and the kids loved the terrace and also the bath. For a family of four, the space was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped, also the dish washer was well appreciated. Liked the privacy of the terrace.

The street where you have to park the car is quite narrow. So when you rent a car, the smaller the better. Some days you had to go to the highway and come back to search a place to park as the road is one way.

The property was comfortable

The property isnt beachfront as described.. its the sea behind a wall, full of rocks... The location was too far out from anything for tourists, we took a lot of taxis and left the property on day 3 of a 7 day holiday and found another place to stay for the other 4 nights instead, the swimming pool isn't a swimming pool and the property is right beside a motorway... very disappointing

Sea view.Comfortable beds, good pillows anf duvet. Good size bathroom, kitchen got everything that you might need for cooking. Good size apartment for family of four.

Location is depressing. Neighbourhood around is basically nothing to do around. Toilet flush is faulty, water runs all the time and difficult to stop it. No window in bathroom or heated towel rail, so towels don’t dry up and smell from humidity is strong. The main shower doesn’t work properly. Upstairs swimming pool depth is up to knees so not much of its use. We stayed for 6 days, nobody came to check chlorine levels or clean it. It is open swimming pool on top of roof so it basically anything can get into water . No conditioner in a house so at night it gets hot, you can use portable conditioner which is provided but is is too noisy to be used at night. It is near to motorway and hospital so at night you can bear helicopter flying above and noise from traffic.Apartment is not bad, but it doesn’t look like in pictures. Maybe 10 years ago it was up to standard but now it needs some fixing

Really nice modern 2 bedroom apartment. Everything worked, all rooms clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Excellent value for money. Bus stop 3 mins away, taxi rank 5 mins walk away. Good shop 10 mins walk away. If you're a surfer, it is right on 2 very popular local surfing spots with good waves every day.

The only disadvantage would be that it's quite a distance from the nearest towns/ cities. North city is 1hr 50min walk but good paths all the way. 10 min taxi, though. The south city is a 35 min bus away. But if you want a quiet spot, none of this matters.

Spacious accommodation. Had everything we needed. Great outdoor space. It needs mentioning about the area, its a little rundown but looks like there's work been done to improve it. Some great authentic non touristy restraunts. Very quiet neighbourhood. Some might think its intimidating but we had no issues.

Parking was a bit of pot luck, space is sparse as its not a tourist area people live and work here. On a night its very quiet. Pool was a little pointless for us. Not very big but nice thought. Crockery needs replacing it's a little chipped, not enough wine glasses.

The location wasn't the best place for a holiday, it is described as being on a marina. Which is nowhere near. The property is overlooked and attached at the side and the back. The motorway is very noisy behind the property and there was nowhere to park. The TV and wi-fi didn't work which has been mentioned in a few reviews. The bedroom was damp and all our clothes smelt of damp. The property is described as having a pool which is tiny and would be ok to dip your feet in but that was all and we never used it,

modern and right on the seafront .. a well designed property with plenty of space for 4 of us. kitchen was excellent and well equipped. the upstairs terrace is amazing. local restaurants are good.

slightly musty smell - lots of air fresheners dotted around. only a single portable air conditioning unit. tv remotes didn’t work. didn’t feel well cleaned - small pool is exactly that tiny. area wasn’t the greatest and was not easy to get parked near the property. shame about being so close to a noisy road as well. No bakery or supermarket nearby- you really need a car.

the washing machine broke down so had to hand wash our clothes, the twin beds aren’t sustainable under much weight. the key to the Villa wouldn’t lock the front door properly, probably cause of the rust on and in the door lock. didn’t receive our deposit back which we were upset by as was told we would
