Il Giardino degli Dei

This is a beautiful property which is close to the beach and Valle Dei Templi but situated in a quiet area. The pool area and garden are impressive and it is overall a very comfortable property and the hosts are awesome!

Amazing property, you’ll arrive in a true oasis, a super well maintained garden & pool area, through which you arrive at the spacious, clean and well-equipped apartment. The owners have their property in the same building upstairs but as guests you have private use of the pool and private terraces at the back of the property, as there is only one apartment on the premises. The kitchen was stocked with food when we arrived, and the host, Jaana, was amazing! She arranged a welcome cake for a birthday celebration I had requested, and provided us with a list of local recommendations. Location is great too, 3 min drive to the sea side with plenty of restaurant options, and about 8 mins away from the temples. Overall highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay! The beautiful garden and large pool were perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly responsive and even went the extra mile by stocking the fridge with some food, snacks, and wine, which made us feel very welcome. The place was peaceful and well-maintained, and we’d highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The double bed was in fact two single mattresses pushed together so they kept pushing apart. Proper zip and link or one mattress would have been much more comfortable. Kitchen equipment and preparation space only suitable for simple cooking.

This thoroughly modern apartment was comfortable, very clean and well equipped for our 4-night stay. I chose it for reviews that said the mattresses were comfortable, and the beds did not disappoint. Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating when we wanted to host our travel companions for breakfast in the apartment and when one of our friends unexpectedly needed to share our apartment for a night. The grounds were lovely and extremely well maintained. The variety of breakfast food provided by our hosts upon our late evening arrival was greatly appreciated.

The pool and garden are exactly as shown on the pictures. It was almost 40°C while we were there so the pool was a blessing. The hosts were very nice and respectful. We stayed here for a full week which was the perfect time for us. However when it's a bit colder and you don't use the pool that much, the surroundings might be a little boring. For us it was perfect however.

The description calls the villa "semi-detached" while that's not really the case. The rooms rented out to you are more like an apartment on the ground floor. We could sometimes hear steps above us. I wouldn't say this is a problem in general but the description here on booking.com just is not very accurate in that case.

The property is gorgeous, the most beautiful we have been during our trip in Sicily. The villa is tastefully decorated, very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything we needed. The garden with the pool is picturesque, perfect place to relax, however the guestrooms overlook a back garden which might not be clearly depicted in the photos.

We missed the friendliness one would expect from a host. Received many text massages full of instructions and rules, which was a bit overwhelming.

The location to Agrigento and the valley of the temples was excellent. San Leone also had some good restaurants although it was early in the season. The outside space was beautiful and we enjoyed it even in the rain.

The kitchen was functional for eating in but a few larger pots/pans would be helpful. We ate in 2 nights and it was fine.
