Gorgeous traditional place with lots of modern comforts. We all slept well in our rooms (note: stairs are a bit steep up to loft room).

Good to know... there is only one knife and it is hard to find (it was in the bottom draw on the left). The fire was hard to start but I think you had to bring your own gear! Didn't like that we had to take our own rubbish away unless we wanted to pay. Where do you dump your rubbish in Japan?!!
