Angam Villas Colombo

What isnt there to like at this fabulous stay. The rooms are quaint, the courtyard has you feeling like you've stepped into a French movie, the pool is gorgeous and you feel at peace surrounded by trees and chirping of birds. The hospitality is par excellence, anything you need the staff is always ready to help. Shout out to shagidh who helped my wife get some medicine a little late in the night as well.

My only wish is that they have a board outside their entry door, but the location on maps is perfect and if you call the place they are always ready to guide you.

I’m not sure if you’d call it a hidden gem, but this charming, not-so-little villa was an absolute godsend in the bustle of Colombo. The owner kindly upgraded us to their villa since they were overbooked, and it turned out to be one of the most impressive suites I’ve ever stayed in—complete with a lovely sitting area, a cozy bedroom, and a huge bathroom. The service was exceptional. Everyone was warm, kind, and incredibly accommodating. I especially want to mention the wonderful security guard Mr. Silva who was always ready to open the door, no matter how late guests arrived. Sagith who served us breakfast and helped us with luggage. We also ended up having a lovely chat with the owner and his wife, which made the experience feel even more personal. Overall, an outstanding place to stay—an easy 100/10! 😄

I liked the food very much. Shahith was the person who took care of us and a great chef

Toiletries weren't as I thought, there was no tooth brush, paste, not mentioned whether there was shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Difficult to contact the room service, there was no phone.

Cozy environment. We like the attached garden to the room.

Can't switch off the room lights from the bed.
