Lovers Green Villa

It was super clean, was well equipt with everything we needed, and they were extremely kind and helpful.

The villa was really great and nice to have your own space, Gayashan and his mother are both wonderful and so nice. They helped find me surfboard rentals and other things around town. Had a really lovely stay. There are fireflies in the driveway at night and cheeky monkeys visit during the day. Convenience store with lots of supplies right next door at the end of the driveway. Would definitely love to come back!

Lovers Green Villa is truly amazing. A little home all to yourself. Peaceful, private, you can cook, and chill on the excellent veranda. A truly special place. Gayashan (lives with his mother next door) is a kind and wonderful host but gives you plenty of space. He offered to drive me to my bus and texted me when a peacock was dancing in the garden. The location is perfect - right next to the shop in Hiriketiya, right in the middle of the village but set back so not noisy.

Loved absolutely everything about our stay. The best value on the whole Hiriketiya beach! The owner, Gayashan, was very helpful and responded super quick to all of our questions and requests. The villa has everything to make your stay comfortable and home-like - kitchen with gas stove / fridge / kettle, AC, fans, drying rack for swimsuits, hot water, large porch with a table and chairs, wifi, parking, and even ability to do laundry. Amazing location - super close to the Hiriketiya beach (3min walk) but far enough from the road to have privacy and quiet. Dikwella beach is about 7min walk away. There’s a great convenience store nearby so you don’t even have to go to the main road to buy things/groceries. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

We had a great 2 week stay at Gayashan's villa. The bed was big and comfortable, every night we had great sleep. A/C worked well, and also there are multiple fans inside and outside. It was possible to make some basic meals in the kitchen. On the terrace there is a big wooden table with a socket. We used this for eating and for our laptops. Location is very convenient too, 2 minute walk from Hiriketiya beach which is great for surfing. And 10 minute walk to Dikwella beach, which is a large beach that's mostly empty. Across the road there is also ClearPoint restaurant that has both Sri Lankan and European food. ClearPoint also runs a convenience grocery store. The owner Gayashan is friendly, he arranged a bbq for us for New Years Eve, and arranged a transfer to Ella
