Villa L Walida - Piscine chauffée

Fantastic hosts who made us feel so welcome.

It's wonderful to have the whole place to ourselves as we have 3 families with 6 kids. Kids loved the swimming pool. It was lovely to have breakfast in the beautiful garden every morning. We also have access to the rooftop which we could cook for ourselves and where we spent most of the evenings. The host is lovely and welcoming. We had yummy tajine catered for us too. We also had massage in the villa which the host helped us arranged.

It's a little further from the centre but the host helped arrange taxi for us, which is about a 15 minute ride.

The villa was located in an amazing position that immersed us in local Moroccan culture, but near enough to the main activity hotspots. From the top of the villa, we were able to relax with beautiful sunsets too. Patrick and Latifa went over and above to ensure that we could get around easily, and also made sure that we were well fed and watered. The pool was incredible and took the edge of the hottest of days - the kids loved it. This was the best holiday day that we’ve had in a long time.

Patrick est un hôte exceptionnel qui organise votre séjour à la demande et Latifa une femme charmante, cuisinière hors pair, qui est au petits soins pour que votre séjour soit le plus doux. Sans aucun regret d avoir choisi cette villa, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés que ce soit en famille, en couple ou groupe d'amis. Transfert aéroport nickel et possibles activités (chameaux, quad) à un prix tout à fait honnête

Un séjour magique et inoubliable, bien plus qu'une simple location ! Quel séjour exceptionnel ! Nous cherchions un bel endroit où nous reposer près d'Essaouira, et nous avons trouvé un véritable paradis sur terre. Le ryad est tout simplement magnifique, une villa atypique décorée avec un goût exquis, où chaque recoin invite à la détente. La piscine était la cerise sur le gâteau, parfaite pour se rafraîchir et profiter du calme. Mais ce qui a rendu cette expérience vraiment unique, ce sont les personnes qui animent ce lieu. Un immense merci à Patrick, le propriétaire, pour son accueil d'une gentillesse et d'une chaleur rares. Il a su nous mettre à l'aise dès la première minute et nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous. Une mention toute particulière pour Latifa, dont le sourire et la disponibilité ont illuminé notre séjour. Sa gentillesse est exceptionnelle. C'est ce genre d'accueil qui transforme un simple séjour en un souvenir mémorable et qui favorise des rencontres humaines incroyables. Et cette excellence se retrouve dans l'assiette ! Grâce à Latifa, nous avons eu la chance de déguster plusieurs spécialités marocaines, et je pèse mes mots : ce sont de loin les meilleurs plats que nous ayons mangés de tout notre voyage au Maroc. Un véritable délice, authentique et savoureux ! Idéalement située à seulement 10 minutes en voiture de la magnifique ville d'Essaouira, la villa est le point de départ parfait pour explorer la région, faire des balades à cheval sur la plage ou simplement profiter de l'océan. Si vous hésitez, n'hésitez plus. Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés et nous avons déjà hâte d'avoir une occasion d'y retourner. Merci encore à Patrick et Latifa pour avoir rendu nos vacances si spéciales. Réservez ici, vous ne le regretterez pas !

We really enjoyed the roof terrace with our family staying over Christmas. It was great to have the opportunity to cook for ourselves as well as sampling Latifa’s cuisine. really great briouats! There were plenty of bathrooms, shared amongst the whole family. Plenty of hot water when needed. Latifa and Patrick were very helpful And welcoming. The kids loved the pool.

Not really a complaint, but there was no heating/Aircon in the rooms. We didn’t really need air-conditioning over Christmas, but can imagine it would be good at other times of the year, and the master bedroom was chilly throughout our day.

The absolute best of the stay was Latifa. She is wonderful and willing to help you anytime you need. We will never forget you!

Everything was good but the pool could be warmer.

The place and our stay was manageable only because of the lovely Latifa who had an exceptional and friendly approach towards us. She cooked our dinner which we ordered and made breakfast. She tried her best in answering any questions and helped and asssit us to make our stay enjoyable. Latifa is an asset to this villa and her great hospitality made us feel welcomed to continue our stay.

This villa was not nice due to a few reasons . Firstly , Very cold water in the bathrooms. . The housekeeper Patrick was very unhelpful don’t know if he didn't like us because we were not typical Europeans. . He came across as arrogant not pleasant at all. We weren’t allowed into the kitchen don’t know why as we had paid for the villa ??? Patrick kept coming in like a warden to check on us which we found very concerning and intimidating. One time he questioned me to what I was doing in kitchen when I went to get tea bags to make tea in the kettle which I had to keep on the dining room stone Floor, as he wouldn’t allow me to use the kitchen to make my tea . Downstairs toilet had no light bulb even asked to replace it, but that didn’t happen. Hardly any blankets in the bedrooms . Bedroom needs upgrading. He was not as forthcoming and helpful as others have made out. This needs to be addressed. To put it bluntly we won't be rushing back here and that is down to the above unless they have rectified.
