Che'Pa Village Langkawi

The atmosphere of the place and the house deco were SUPERB. We really got the feeling that we were staying in a traditional Malay kampong house surrounded by paddy fields, with an added modern convenience of having our own private swimming pool. It was easy to find, near masjid and near a few kampong restaurants. It also wasn't far from Kota Mahsuri. Its location in the middle of Langkawi island also made it convenient to go everywhere. In terms of facilities and amenities, there was a kitchen stove, fridge, plates and cups, washing machine (outside, under the house) and filtered water for drinking. I hope I've stayed longer here.

Because the house was made of wood, there was no soundproofing, so if the people from the next house were chatting outside, you could hear everything. The bathroom amenities can be improved (there was only one tiny soap and a tiny tube of shampoo). The mosquito net and cushion pillows could do some extra cleaning because they were already a bit dirty. A proper mosquito net (or mosquito killer) should be installed (because there were mosquitoes around at night). The dining table and chairs seemed a bit out of place because they were modern deco.

I love the house, i feel like i'm at home. The classic malay design is lovely. The paddy field view is wonderful especially during sunset. My kids love the private pool.

The homestay is excellent, but it can get better. On that note, this homestay may consider to improve the privacy of the private pool, the barbecue area, outside lighting (pool & barbecue), landscape and the condition of the bed
