Woodroyd Estate holiday sanctuary

Grand estate with lovely views and grounds. Lots of space for our team which was perfect for us. This house is perfect for large groups.

The kitchen had a few faulty applicances: the top oven and the insinkerator weren't working at all. The technician came to fix it on the day we left. We messaged the property manager on day 2 but had no reply. Bedroom 5 and 6 were only accessible from the outside which was not mentioned in the details at all. Since we had 15 year old girls staying it wasn't appropriate for them and we had to move mattresses into the house. One dining room chair was broken from the start. When one of the girls sat down she fell to the floor. 3 bathrooms are listed but only 2 with showers which was misleading and led to longer queues for our 14 people to shower.

The driveway was a challenge

Location was stunning. Think about updating the address though Hieu.

Double booking. Offering refund and then reneging. Not how we do business in Aotearoa. Spa bath doesn't work. T.v doesn't work. Bbq doesn't work. Oven in kitchen doesn't work. If they tell you differently, they are lying.

Beautiful home, so clean and stunning, couldn’t have asked for better

Beds could be updated a little and some were a bit hard.

Stunning, huge, character home with so many bush walking trails around it. Beautiful location with stunning scenery, and all the facilities you need. Highly recommended.

The house was incredible and the grounds were amazing. Could not have asked for better accommodation.

Plenty of room and a unique property.

Very basic in terms of supplies i.e. no flannels.

Beautiful all over. stunning house and grounds. i personally loved the bbq outdoor area

only thing I’d say is the beds could do with more pillows
