Countryside Villa

The location is great (for those who have a car). The nearest beaches and big supermarket are a short drive away. The outdoor areas of the house are fantastic, the swimming pool and eating areas really nice. Inside, the living room, kitchen and rooms are in general quite spacious and each room has an associated bathroom.

The house lacked a lot of basic equipment. One could tell it was finished in a rush (I was told it only started operating this summer). Water heater was constantly turning off so we had no hot water, a water pipe burst during our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms had very little cleaning equipment, wifi was insufficient to send e-mails. We had to do a lot of shopping for basic stuff such as loo and kitchen paper, bowls for cereals etc. The owner was friendly and responsive, always came around when we had no hot water, but he seems to have little experience in managing a holiday house. For the price we paid (3,240 euros for one week) we expected more equipment and comfort.

We loved the location and the pool. The property as a whole was great.

The wifi didnt work, we still have not received our deposit back, the kitchen was poorly equipped, and we had intermittent gas for cooking and for hot water.
