Teaberg Estate Haus

The property is located in an offbeat, quiet place in the lap of a tea garden with beautiful natural views from the balcony and also from the room. The food served was of very good taste. Special mention of Krishna who ensured that all requests of guests were attended to with a warm smile. A big thumbs up to him!! His brother Sri Raam who managed the billing and other stuff is also very helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights. Reached a little ahead of the check-in time. One thing to note is there is no reception area for guests to sit in case of an early check-in or late check-out. There are only two benches in the open which cannot be used in case it's raining. Hence when we contacted the property to request for an early check-in we were asked to come only at the check in time as they cannot accommodate us. Anyways they made some place for us to sit while they cleaned the room. The place is quite inside from the main road and especially in the evenings, one should have a confirmed means of transport or a hired vehicle so as to reach the place or else getting an auto might become difficult. The place might not be very good for people with knee problems as there are quite a bit of slopy terrain to negotiate and some which are quite steep. The property does have an invertor as power cuts are quite frequent in that area and mini-suite room which we had booked did not had the invertor connected to the plug points which made mobile and laptop charging difficult for us. There was only two lights which were working. Not even the fan. This is something which the property owner need to work on as putting 1-2 charging points on the invertor is basic for mobile charging or any small requirement. There is no lift in the property. So people will have to climb stairs to access the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor.

The villa room was too good and the balcony view was also very nice… staff is very supportive and helpful.. mr sriram is a very nice person

They don’t have own kitchen you have to go out for the breakfast.. wifi also week.. location is difficult to find

The property is amazing but only flaw was the way to reach the place. It took me a hell.lot of effort to get inside. The way was narrow and steep. But the room and view is amazing

Cleanliness, location, staff service and behaviour, decent breakfast , food is reasonably priced

Issue with hot water and limited food menu for breakfast and dinner
