Villa Domingues

Very cute and accommodating apartment. Pedro was insightful about the area. Gave us some wonderful restaurant recommendations. Location was an easy walk to many places or a quick metro ride.

Two bathrooms are in the bedrooms. We were a family, so we didn’t mind. I thought the listing stated that shampoo, soap were provided, but they were not. Pedro was a fantastic host, but he didn’t often communicate via booking messaging. He did answer a phone call. We enjoyed him nevertheless.

The location was excellent, very close to public transport. Pedro provided lots of local knowledge regarding places to visit and eat in.

This gorgeous villa is a perfect oasis from which to explore Lisbon, within walking distance of the sights and sounds of the city, although we also recommend a tram-ride at some point. It is beautifully decorated and full of authentic Portuguese charm and character, with a lovely outside seating area with a plunge pool, where you can catch the morning sun. Pedro was very friendly and helpful and we followed many of his recommendations for things to see and do. Loved our stay here!

Convenient for reaching anywhere in the city. Quiet location away from tourism. Good local cafes and restaurants.

Need for sharper knives in the kitchen. Over flying aircraft

The whole accomodation is very agrreable, the garden inside and all the plants were an extra treat for us - very beautiful. The interiors are very nicely decorated and we received full information from the hosts. Proximity to Estrela Park and the market made us feel very much at home. The host is very kind and informative.

Due to the weather (rain) we had some problems in general in Lisbon, but overall we were very happy.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property

Amazing location. We travelled with two toddlers and barely needed any public transport. We took an airport taxi to the property but on the way back used the nearby Rato metro station. Our host was very friendly and quickly answered any questions we had. The area is filled with restaurants and cafes, but the property is on a more quiet side street. There are also four well-equipped grocery stores within 5 min walking. We also enjoyed the playgrounds which are plentiful in this area. The property was nicely decorated and there was a nice charm to it. We enjoyed our stay very much

Several other people pointed out in their reviews that the humidity can be an issue. We also noticed this, it was very difficult to dry anything and our towels were always moist. We kept the windows open 24/7 which helped. Luckily there is a shared washing machine and dryer. We also felt that for the price there should have been shampoo available in the property. Also, there was only one toilet paper roll. You can always ask for more, but for this price point not. We could also sometimes hear the other guests quite well through the walls, especially when there was a party group visiting for two nights. Overall we enjoyed our visit and the location was amazing, but we felt that the value for money was a bit off with several small things missing
