GBThe view is unbeatable - and that's about it.
The only upside of this villa is the view - and that's about it. The service was very subpar for a villa at this price; even for a small hotel around this region, you get free breakfast, someone will help you bring your luggage to the room, free parking is offered wherever possible, you can store you luggage if you arrive early or leave later. NOT HERE when you pay ~$1500 a night. Everything comes with a price tag, even the most basic ones. We arrived early with a car and was told we had to pay for a parking that's somewhere super far (will have to take a shuttle to come back), and can only leave the luggage at their town center office for 10euro a piece. The villa also has over 100 steps (big ones) which is only communicated with us 3 days before we stayed there. You want help with carrying your luggage? Another 10euro a piece. It's impossible to stay here with people who're not super fit (overweight/sick/old/kids etc.) because of the steps and even with a car it's super inconvenient because you have to park super far away. Wifi works very poorly here and you get very limited service on your phone no matter which carrier you use. The shower is tiny and outdated. We didn't have hot water for the first night so everyone had to shower cold. Kitchen is a greasy and the tub outdoor is also not well clean. There's no mention of how many bugs there're in this villa - we didn't get bitten so assuming they don't bite people (yet?) but you'll be prepared to see all sorts of flying and climbing bugs. Would only recommend this place if you 100% understand that YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE VIEW. There's no luxury or even comfort and we didn't feel welcomed.
