Casa Shambala

Casa Shambala proved to be wonderful accommodation for our family holiday (5 adults plus two children). It is very spacious, luxurious and has every facility we could possibly have asked for. The reality was even better than the pictures has suggested! Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the beds were super-comfy, the kitchen was brand new and really well equipped in every way. The generously-sized heated pool is a massive plus, and the grounds and surrounding area are both beautiful and very private. Harald was extremely helpful and gave us exactly the guidance and support needed both on arrival and during the stay. All this added up to a fabulous, relaxing stay, and we would definitely love to come back. We recommend 100%.

There was NOTHING we didn't like! Visitors should be aware that although there is plenty to see in the area on foot, a car is desirable to access a wide range of leisure and sightseeing options, access the many excellent restaurants in the area, and for airport transfer. Also, the closest beaches are spectacular but very rugged, so it would be wise to travel a little further to beaches with safer bathing, especially for families with children. Also it is important to check whether energy costs are included in the overall price, or whether they are charged in addition at the ebbs of your stay.

If we were being very picky the outside furniture could be updated but everything was functional and it’s a really lovely villa in a fabulous location with beautiful walks nearby and restaurants within walking distance. Communication was excellent and the handover for the keys was easy and friendly. We had to pay extra for air conditioning but we knew that in advance. Assume 15 euros per night. Really recommend the villa.
