Villa Ruby

Location of the villa is great.

We took several taxis during our stay including one from the airport. They all had difficulties finding the Villa and got lost and all suggested having a sign at the door with Villa Ruby on it. Many other villas have the name displayed at the entrance.

Perfect place for our week-long vacation stay with our family. Kids especially loved the pool, and house was plenty spacious for our family of 5. Host was friendly, responsive, and helpful when we had questions re: the appliances. Highly recommend!

House was technically walking distance from the beach and restaurants/shops, but we found ourselves using our car for dining and beach visits because a bit far for frequent walks there and back.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in Villa Ruby! De villa is schoon, rustig gelegen en biedt volop privacy. De locatie is top en de eigenaar super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een echte aanrader voor wie wil ontspannen in alle rust!

The hosts communication could not have been better. She provided full information when asked, was extremely helpful and always replied very quickly. A very thoughtful and comprehensive starter pack was provided for our arrival - one of the best I have seen. The location was excellent, 10 minutes walk or less to the nearest restaurants and 15 minutes walk to the beach. The house was very spacious with plenty of room for all of us - we were 8 people. The kitchen had everything that was needed for eating, cooking and preparing food. The pool and surrounding area were perfect for swimming, cooling down and sunbathing.

The only negative is that the property is in need of some updating and requires some minor repairs. It is the only reason I did not give it a 10. However, this did not alter the excellent time we had or how much we enjoyed the property and location.

The location of the facility is easy to reach everywhere. The owner is interested and helpful in every matter. The house has plenty of rooms.

No internet connection.

House was nice, owner was kind and interested. Pool is checked daily and was clean. We had all facilities in the kitchen and bathroom even an iron and ironing board.

Quiet and nice area

Very peaceful area. great pool and sunbathing area. The villa was very spacious, air conditioning worked well and the beds were very comfortable. Having a washing machine was very handy to freshen up towels etc mid way through the holiday. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Fehime our host was very pleasant and welcoming. The nearest supermarket, bakery and restaurants were within a kilometre and the beach promenade just over this, easy strolling distance. We liked the cats who visited regularly but keep the mosi door shut as they like to come into the Villa.

There was a minor problem with the pool circulating pump which meant the pool floor was not vacuumed as it should have been but the pool was still usable and water checked regularly and treated as necessary. Taxi drivers found it difficult to locate the villa, maybe a sign on the gate would help but if you tell them near Parkside Villa you are almost there.
