"Quiet retreat in the foothills of mount Etna"

Our hosts treated us like family. They were super friendly and hospitable. Since we didn't have a car, they brought us here from the closest train station and showed us around Piedimonte Etno. This place was exceptionally quiet, and spacious with a beautiful view of mount Etna and the sea. The facilities had everything we needed for a week's stay and we enjoyed it very much.

At no fault of the hosts, if you'd want to explore more of the area, I'd recommend you come with your own vehicle because this place is tucked away in a quiet area 2-3km from the closest town. What would be a few minutes by car for example is a half-hour walk.

Lovely home set in the etna hillside, remote and very quiet and surrounded by beautiful views. salvo and his father were very attentive hosts
