White Galaxy Villa

White Galaxy Villa is a spacious, well-equipped and comfortable house, near to the Bucharest airports. It's good value for an overnight stay when arriving in Romania, and the host is very friendly. We liked it so much that we booked another night there for our return journey.

Finding the property wasn't terribly easy: the backstreets of Otopeni are quite narrow and confusing. Our satnav directed us the wrong way down one-way streets several times, and eventually we had to follow it.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Handy to Therme - about 15 mins by taxi. About 30mins by taxi to Old Town. Host was very friendly and helpful and as others have said was very good at replying to messages. Was a bonus to know he lived next door and was willing to help in any way. Rooms were very spacious and larger than I expected. Great to have an ensuite with each bedroom with shampoo and shower gel. Beds were extremely comfortable. We used Bolt for taxi and Glovo for food delivery and both were easy to use and very reasonably priced. Be careful though if you get a taxi back from the city centre. Apparently there is another identical address in a different area to Otopeni so when I entered the address and several options were listed, I chose the wrong one. The host had provided a location via google maps which would work if you were driving but I'm not sure how this would work in an App. When we realised what had happened it was easy to correct.

Would have preferred curtains / blinds on all bedroom windows - some had only sheer curtains so did let the light in. We didn't see any washing up liquid etc in the kitchen though I'm sure if we had asked the host would have provided it. Neither of these things spoilt our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location and easy to find. Spacious and clean apartment with all the facilities you could need. Kind host who waited up for us arriving to hand over the keys and show us around. A perfect hub for a stay in Bucharest and visit to Therme.
