Special shout out to Khwan - The General Manager. She was so attentive and so helpful, I literally had a medical issue and she booked a time at the local clinic for a checkup, and when they recommended I go to the nearby Hospital in Phuket, Khwan helped arrange all the transfers, and constantly made sure everything was ok and that I was recovering well. She was available all the time (when does she sleep - I don’t know) and she found a solution to every request. The room was nice and spacious, we were a bit disappointed that the TV is in the living room and not in the bedroom, but that wasn’t an issue. The private pool was phenomenal - always in the right temperature for a nice dip, and in the afternoon it was fully in the shade which was even nicer (the sun is scorching hot). The location was great too, with a couple of local restaurants nearby which is great. For the restaurants that are further away - The hotel offers a free transport to wherever you wish to go on the island which was fantastic.

Very few things, not worth taking away even 1 star for them. The TV was in the living room and not in the bedroom (I understand the design choice behind it, but it’s more of a personal preference). There were a few ants and spiders in the room, but that is almost always inevitable in Thailand, so not a big issue.

Es ging alles sehr schnell; zusätzliche Infos kamen per Whats App. Leider fehlte uns die typisch thailändische Herzlichkeit.

Wir haben leider den Eindruck gewonnen, dass sich Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit leider nicht durchgehend im gesamten Team widerspiegelt. Die meisten Mitarbeitenden, denen wir begegnet sind, waren grundsätzlich freundlich, insbesondere auch die Mitarbeiter, die man auf der Anlage gesehen hat. Beim Frühstück hatten wir allerdings eine gegenteilige Erfahrung. Eine Mitarbeiterin war so unfreundlich, dass wir das in dieser Form noch nie erlebt haben. Selbst auf eine freundliche Begrüßung unsererseits kam keinerlei Reaktion. Auch beim Check-out gab es kein „Auf Wiedersehen“, keine Nachfrage, ob uns der Aufenthalt gefallen hat, oder ähnliche abschließende Worte. Insgesamt wirkte der Service in diesen Momenten eher distanziert und wenig zugewandt.

Das Hotel punktet vor allem mit seiner überragenden Lage und der wirklich wunderschönen Aussicht, die den Aufenthalt auf den ersten Blick sehr attraktiv macht. Auch das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und bemüht, was positiv hervorzuheben ist.

Leider überwiegen insgesamt die negativen Aspekte. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Es roch stark nach Feuchtigkeit, und an den Wänden war bereits abblätternde Farbe sichtbar. Auch die Anlage wirkte teilweise ungepflegt – im Pool lösten sich Fliesen, und es trat Wasser aus den Außenwänden aus. Die Matratze war zudem extrem hart und sorgte für wenig Schlafkomfort. Das Personal war zwar nett, wirkte jedoch häufig überfordert. Besonders kritisch ist der Zustand des Strandes zu sehen, da dort zahlreiche Glasscherben lagen und Barfußlaufen kaum möglich war. Das Hotelrestaurant konnte ebenfalls nicht überzeugen – das Essen war höchstens durchschnittlich, und es gibt deutlich bessere Alternativen.

Rauhallinen, siisti ja hyvä lomapaikka. Ei hälinää ja loistava palvelu sekä henkilökunta. Järjestelyt retkille ja muutenkin sujuivat helposti ja selkeästi. Villa oli siisti ja siellä täysin oma rauha. Ravintolassa oli hyvä valikoima, hyvää ruokaa ja kaikki ruokailumme onnistuneita. Saaren länsirannalla parempia uimapaikkoja.

Meressä kävimme uimassa muilla rannoilla, tällä rannalla hieman kivistä ja sameampaa vettä. Tämä oli toki jo aiemmista arvioista selvää ja vuokrattuamme skootterin loman ajaksi oli helppo kulkea muille saaren rannoille.
