Maison spacieuse et très bien située, facile à trouver. La piscine est superbe et nous avons passé de très bons moments. Shandima s'est occupé de nous à merveille : serviable, souriant et très sympathique. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous recommandons vivement cette maison !

Die Lage mitten im Dschungel mit all der Tierwelt ist unglaublich. Der riesige Pool. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse. Der Gastgeber vor Ort, Chandima, ist unglaublich nett und freundlich und kümmert sich um alle Anliegen die man sich vorstellen kann. Das Frühstück wird von Chandima jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und er verwöhnt einen auf Wunsch auch mit köstlichen heimischen Gerichten.

Leider hatten wir Probleme mit der Wasserversorgung sodass wir erst am vorletzten Tag von 11 Tagen eine einwandfreie Wasserversorgung hatten. Bei starkem Regen löst der Fehlerstromschutzschalter aus, das nachts sehr lästig sein kann. Die Villa ist in die Jahre gekommen und das merkt man. Das Alarmsystem ist unglaublich umständlich, da die alten Balken alle mittels unzähliger Hacken geschlossen werden müssen. Auf Grund des Alters sind diese schwergängig. Auch die riesigen Balkonschiebetüren lassen sich auf Grund des Alters nur schwer öffnen und schließen. Die Betten sind sehr alt und knarzen dementsprechend bei jeder Bewegung. Die Matratzen waren mir und meiner Partnerin zu hart. Die Küche ist zwar vollständig aber auch schon sehr alt. Die Armaturen der Duschen sollte auch alle erneuert werden. Die Beleuchtung im Hauptraum und in den Bädern könnte heller sein.

The villa is beautiful, and the pool is absolutely luxurious and spotless. The setting offers fantastic peace and a gorgeous garden; every morning feels magical. The villa provides plenty of space and privacy. The grounds are excellently maintained, and guests can use all facilities (except for a washing machine). There are ample towels and dishes. There are only four sun loungers by the pool, which isn’t entirely fair. Chandima is very kind and always ready to help.

Breakfast has significant room for improvement. The accommodation price is relatively high for Sri Lanka, and breakfast clearly deserves more attention; out of five (and considerably cheaper) places we stayed in the country, this breakfast ranked lowest in both quality and quantity. Be prepared that no additional services are included in the rate. Tips are expected for every service – not only for the villa staff but also for the owner, who lives abroad. For example, cooking dinner cost us 4,500 LKR for the staff and an additional 6,000 LKR requested by the owner; ingredients were paid separately. This multi‑layer tipping system is highly unusual.

House is really villa. Internet was very good. Pool is great. Photo is very similar with reality. For all of that we’re thankful to house keeper Chandima, who was make our staying more comfortable, specially with his cooking. And thanks to manager Danu, he showed us beauty’s off Sri Lanka and he was there for everything we needed. Definitely we can recommend this villa. Again thanks for everything and hope see you soon again.

Wow is all i can say. The Villa was beautiful, tge pool was awesome, the views were beautiful, the host (Chandima) is a wonderful human being (who is also a greak cook), lots of wildlife and easy to get to Unawantuna and Galle.. Sri Lanka was full of highlights, this was the best accomodation.

Having to send 50% via a bank transfer in advance felt unnerving (or a leap of faith). But it all worked out perfectly.

Tucked away in a quiet spot,away from the tourists, this luxury villa provides a comfortable retreat. The kids loved the pool, there was a daily visit by a tribe of leaf monk eys and lots of visiting birds. The housekeeper/cook who stays in a separate building was welcoming and helpful and prepared delicious meals. On the downside portion control at breakfast was a bit bizarre, a limit of one round of toast per person and one cup of coffee, but it was otherwise plentiful.

Chandima, who works at the property, is amazing. A great cook and took good care of us, including helping book transport and everything required to make the trip great. The house is big with a great pool, close to Galle and the beech, 10 / 20 minutes away by tuk tuk. The house is a little out of town, which is great as there is peace and wildlife. We found our stay to be very relaxing but with plenty of entertainment and restaurant option close enough
