Had a great experience with a Good customer service and the staff was so friendly also the food was great as well

- The place was very neat and clean - Staff were extremely friendly and supportive - Bathroom was spotless with reliable hot water - Room heater was provided - Staff helped carry all of our luggage - Overall stay was comfortable and pleasant

- The bathroom was quite small - Food was normal and not very special

Bad total verschimmelt, weil keine Lüftung. Hellhörig. Nachbarn im Haus nebenan haben bis Mitternacht eine laute Party gefeiert, um 5h früh wurde in der Moschee nebenan eine Stunde gesungen.

Die Lage ist ziemlich genau zwischen Bahnhof und Stadt aber um in die Stadt zu gelangen braucht man ein Tuktuk/Fahrer. Leider war ein Tempel in der Nähe sehr laut am Abend und auch um 6 Uhr morgens.

Las habitaciones eran grandes y espaciosas, incluía kit de baño (champú, gel, crema). La ubicación era muy buena, en 5 minutos andando estabas en la zona del lago y el paseo era muy bonito. El hotel no era muy moderno pero las habitaciones eran un 10/10. El personal era muy simpático y agradable.

Olía fuerte a curry en el vestíbulo, pero en las habitaciones no.

Excellent Stay at CI Residence Nuwara Eliya! ​We recently had a wonderful one-night stay at CI Residence Nuwara Eliya. We opted for a room-only booking and were very impressed with the quality of the accommodation—the room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. ​However, the real highlight was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming and genuinely helpful, making our short visit feel special. ​We highly recommend CI Residence for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Nuwara Eliya. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the space itself was fine overall. The bathroom grout could use a bit of refreshing, but otherwise everything was in decent condition. Breakfast was okay.

The property is quite small, with around five or six rooms in total. I had selected a preference for a quiet room when booking, but unfortunately I got the complete opposite. During our stay, another group of guests decided to throw a party at the property , they were drinking, singing, and dancing all night. Because the dining area is directly below the room we stayed , the noise continued until around 4 a.m., and we couldn’t sleep at all. We contacted the host, who spoke to the other guests, but the noise didn’t stop and nothing else was done. The next morning, we received an apology, but there was no offer of compensation or even a small discount (5–10%) for the major inconvenience. The location is also not ideal , it’s up on a hill and not very central. We would have changed hotels, but since it was the middle of the night and the property is somewhat isolated, it wasn’t really an option. Overall, a disappointing experience despite the decent room itself.
