Sigiri Dilu Villa

Probably the best place we could have chosen in Sigiriya. The property is very green, peaceful, and cozy, with a beautiful natural atmosphere, and it’s conveniently located close to both Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock. The host, Dilu, is wonderful – incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, with a big heart. He also organizes different trips, and we especially recommend the kayak trip on the lake – it was a fantastic afternoon.

Our room was quite dark and a bit hot. Although there was a mosquito net, we felt a little hesitant to keep the window open at night. There was also no hot water, which was a bit challenging.

Rustige, mooie setting. Zeer vriendelijk gezin die steeds voor je klaarstaat. De kamer was proper. Op 500m van het lokale marktje. Je krijgt zeker waar voor je geld!

Cicha, dobra lokalizacja. Duży plus za czystość. Sprawna klimatyzacja i wiatrak. Bardzo wygodne materace. Smaczne śniadania typu lankijskiego. Dodatkowo dwukrtnie zamawialiśmy kolację też bardzo smacznie! Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa.

Momentami w pokoju słabszy internet wi-fi.

The location is super convenient and close to local restaurants, the room we picked was just incredible, and the owner incredibly kind and nice.

All worked perfectly for us. So far our best stay in Sri Lanka!

The family were lovely. Food was also good. The place is set in lovely garden setting. There is no real center/hub in Sigiriya. It’s kind of really spread out. At first we felt like we were staying in the middle of nowhere then realized we could do a short tuk tuk to Pid rock, we were 5 mins walk from the temple with the huge white Buddha that you can see from the top of the rocks, and about a 30 min walk from thalkote lake. Other than that we jumped in to tuktuk to go to other places to eat which was easy,

Very comfortable Stay. Nice bed and spacious private bathroom. No a/c in our Room, but the fan was enough. The breakfast was delicious. Super Nice staff.
