Villa Vista, Mirissa by The Serendipity Collection

The private villa was excellent and provided plenty of space to relax. The staff were friendly, helpful, and handled everything quickly. The property has a private beach, although it requires about a 10-minute walk through the jungle to reach it. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and high-quality food. The location is ideal, situated between Mirissa and Weligama, making it easy to visit either destination. One thing to note is that it's better not to book Tuktuk through the villa, as their rates are quite high. Using PickMe is a much more affordable option

Unfortunately, the room was not clean and had a serious insect problem. There were bed bugs, spiders, and many different types of insects throughout the room. This made our stay very uncomfortable, especially when trying to sleep. As a result, we developed allergic reactions on our bodies. We even used insect spray ourselves, but it was not effective in eliminating all the insects. Overall, these were the worst two nights of sleep we had during our entire trip.

We verbleven in de kleine villa. Het complex is gelegen in een mooi stukje natuur met veel vogels, vlinders en apen in de bomen. De kamer is mooi en goed onderhouden met ook een mooie douche en fijne buiten zitplaats. Wij hadden het geluk dat de grote villa niet geboekt was waardoor we ook het zwembad en faciliteiten van deze villa tot onze beschikking kregen van het personeel. Dat was echt geweldig. Er is ook een privé strand bij de villa, ook dit is fantastisch! Er werd in de avond en voor het ontbijt voor ons gekookt, allemaal even lekker en goed verzorgd :)

Omdat de villa in een stuk naruur is gelegen zijn er best wat insecten in het buiten gedeelte van de villa, en het zwembad van de kleine villa kon wat schoner. Verder top

It was a pleasure staying here. Vish and Prasana made our stay very comfortable! We were celebrating our honeymoon and they made a romantic setting in the room for us which was a nice touch. Breakfast was great every day with different options and they were flexible with the time. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It's a short walk through the villa grounds to the private beach which ls great to relax with your partner or family, also a short drive to the more busy beaches so it was perfect to have option of both.

In the smaller villa It would be great to have a bigger fridge, so we can store more cold water.

The photos don't do this place justice, I fell completely in love. The second I walked in and saw the views I was awestruck by the magnificent views, we stayed in Sri Lanka for a month and we spent most of our trip at Villa Vista. The crew became like family ♥️ Special thanks to Vish, Promod, Parsanna and Asha.

Breakfast was ok, but we had to give them extra money for it. It wasn't included in the price of the room, which is again very bizarre in Sri Lanka. This is probably the only experience which was more or less ok.

The property was not cleaned properly, furniture were falling apart, the swimming pool was dirty. We had booked for 2 nights and we ended staying for one night only. We left the second day. I would never recommend anyone to stay at villa vista. It is badly maintained and our stay was not enjoyable at all. A complete rip off taking into account the price we paid for 2 nights.
