Beach Front Villa Nilaveli

Just the location.

Everything other than the location was very disappointing. We actually didn't need up staying here because the host was downright rude. My request for water was met with very harsh reaction from the host - he called us names, called me retarded, asked for money upfront because in his words 'we looked like the type who would abscond without paying', I could go on. It was a very unpleasant experience (to say the least), and the property doens't look anything like in the photos- the furniture was badly maintained, the rooms were badly furnished, kitchen and bathrooms didn't have basic facilities. While we were trying to make it work because we were travelling with parents and 2 toddlers, I am glad we didn't end up staying. Also, I have to say that we didn't get any support from booking.com.

Pudimos descansar . Una villa delante de la playa , espaciosa con cocina y lavadora . Nos fue muy bien para darnos un descanso y cocinar comida española. Ellos también tienen restaurante . Hacen masajes y excursiones . Puedes ver el amanecer en el mar. Son muy amables .

The location was quiet, you can walk to a few restaurants. We were pleased to escape lots of people! Amal & his son were very nice and organised a snorkelling trip, which we loved - such a nice guide.

Take your own drinks. There is no drinking water at the house. Otherwise we loved it.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable house, with a nice garden, and access straight onto a lovely clean beach. With hammocks and sun loungers. Friendly, helpful hosts, but not at all imposing or intrusive.

Water pressure in the showers could have been a bit better, but a minor complaint in a otherwise lovely house.
