"Huge property with great hosts, a unique stay"

The riad was huge, palatial rooms with more than enough room for our party of 8. Rachid and Khadijah were wonderful hosts, Khadijah’s chicken tagline was sublime. We requested breakfast most mornings which were beautifully presented on the roof terrace and slightly different every day. The location is fantastic - right in the middle of the medina. Plunge pool on the roof was well used. A lovely stay.

A little bit tired in places. Some of the plug sockets were hanging from the walls. Showers weren’t very hot

"Lovely week long stay in the heart of the medina"

Rachid and Khadija were so helpful and nice and even prepared us a dinner on the day we arrived, upon request. We all got fit with the sheer amount of steps in the house. Location is perfect

A bit short of daylight but that cannot be helped in the medina

"Best Riad in Essaouira"

Beautiful property, beautifully decorated with everything you need in terms of amenities. Central location in the heart of the Medina. Excellent service with the house manager Rachid and housekeeper/cook Khadija on site. We had an exceptional stay thanks to them.

"Absolutely stunning property, perfect for a large group in the center of Essaouira’s Medina"

Beautiful riad with incredible artwork and attention to detail. It is perfect for 10 people and absolutely enormous. The food, plunge pool, terrace and staff onsite are 10/10.

The location is next to a school which can be loud in the mornings if you sleep with windows opened. Not a major problem for us though.
