Hôtel Villa Les Orchidées

Conveniently situated, not far from the beach where trips by boat to nearby attractions can be chartered. Stunning sunsets can be viewed from a large balcony pertaining to the room. Friendly and outgoing staff.

Huge room with big balcony, fridge, safe. Aircon included. Breakfast inclued, better than expected. Hotel staff speaks English! A relief for someone who doesn't speak French or Italian :)

The hotel lies quite near the beach, but it's located on top of a steep, unlit mud road, and it felt dodgy going home after dark. None of the tuktuk drivers knew the place, for some reason. Wifi on the balcony, but it didn't work in the room. Unfortunately, it's too hot to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. Some shades would have been great.

What an amazing place! Great room with amazing view. Good shower and toilet. Nice swimming pool. Great staff and service. Very good fresh food. Great location very central to bars, restaurants, ATM, and beach.

The breakfast buffet always full of flies: it would be a great idea to move it somewhere inside the hotel rather than outside, also, internet is poor

The quiet atmosphere, nice staff, great dishes from the kitchen.

The view. The staff was friendly in general. Convenient location even though the road outside was dirty and dark at night.

- water stopped a few times during our stay. - the air-conditioning was leaking. - we were not informed that the property would be under renovation during our stay. - the staff was not very good at handling issues. - breakfast was disappointing. I was told eggs were not included because it is a French breakfast.

Please try and do something about the A/C, and it would help greatly if you put a notice on the listing to let customers know that card payments aren't working (especially for longer bookings).
