Location was excellent with a stunning view. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Lime trees in the garden improved our gin and tonics! Lots to do in Russell and the surrounding area.

It was reasonably private.

I’m surprised that a property which advertises its view allows lemon trees to grow to a height which obscures that view from the outside deck. We are in our seventies. Without a car the stay would have been unmanageable. A very steep climb from the Russell waterfront. Why aren’t comprehensive instructions left for the television. Would like to have tuned in briefly for a news programme in the morning, mind I know NZ tv is mostly rubbish. It seems incredible to me that despite paying for cleaning a requirement is that all rubbish be disposed of yet no bag ($4) is provided for that purpose. Why? That would seem a common courtesy.

What a fantastic view, very comfortable bed & great large bathroom. It was very quiet & easy to walk into town, all be it via a short steep hill! Would highly recommend this property.

We loved our 5-night stay at Te Minaaki Villa. It was ideally located for us to explore the BOI area, enjoy walks to Long Beach and Russell town centre as well as soak up the beautiful views over the bay from our deck. The comfortable sized studio Villa offered all we needed for self catering including a useful BBQ. Thanks again Donna for for all your recommendations and top hospitality.
