Gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. Within walking distance to hot pools, cafes and eateries. Comfortable beds and lounge area.

Location was fine

I think 3 towels for 5 people is a bit much and also one toilet for 5 people.

The view from the property was beautiful and it is in an excellent location. Within walking distance of everything. It was especially great to have the washer and dryer to clean clothes after muddy and wet activities.

The 2 bottom rooms were freezing cold. However, heaters were provided for these rooms. The electric blanket in the room with the single beds didnt work and the toilet window handle was broken. The bedroom at the top of the stairs was the complete opposite of the other 2 in that it was far too warm when the heat pump was on to heat the property. The fan provided didn't really help as it was just blowing the warm air towards you.

Views and location

cleanliness - dried split coffee stains on stairs going up to loft bedroom. general cleanliness for the property compared to all others stayed in in area was very poor. Dirty booze bottle with cigarettes inside on deck, corners dirty and not vacuumed or wiped. Toilet was not clean.

The house is located approximately 200 metres from the main street in Hanmer Springs, so very convenient for shops, restaurants etc. The house is located on a lakeside and a quiet street so no disturbance. Ideal for a weekend getaway in Hanmer Springs.

The view is spectacular! Close to everything!
