Villa Adrian & Brian

It was an excellent villa and we were extremely pleased with it. We arrived early and were allowed to check in early and we were allowed to stay until 5pm before checking out on our last day which was just a brilliant help. The villa had everything and we would definitely go back. A beautiful spot. Just a short cheap Uber ride to Albufeira. Once our small initial issues were sorted our stay was outstanding.

I am just adding this to provide advice so that these issues can be easily fixed. There was confusion over the address. I began to think I had been scammed. The taxi couldn’t find the address, then when I guessed roughly where it was, we couldn’t find the actual villa as the address wasn’t picked up by Google or Booking.Com. I had to phone Eunice and after a few calls we managed to find the Villa but it was frustrating after travelling. There was nobody there to meet us to give us a 10 minute talk through regarding the operation of aircon, safety deposit box etc. Eunice’s friend arrived after I called her and she was lovely and helped us out. The front door was broken which was ok as there was another main door but the patio doors for the pool area also wouldn’t lock. We had to leave our patio doors unlocked every day and this was a concern which I reported twice at the beginning but it was never fixed. We just chanced it every day but other customers might not. The Villa had shutters for nights which were amazing but we couldn’t use these during the day. But other than that it was a fantastic place to stay.

The property is beautiful in a lovely quiet location within easy walking distance of restaurants and a supermarket. Plenty of space in the property, comfortable beds, the property was very clean and the hosts were very nice and accommodating. We hired a car and had no issues with parking.

More towels would have been great. There wasn’t enough bath, hand or tea towels.

The Villa was beautiful in a peaceful location- The pictures do not do it justice. it is a 20 min walk to the old town and beach and a 45 min walk to the new town but ubers are cheap and quick to use. The supermarket near the villa 5-10 min walk has everything you need with hot cooked whole chickens and different meats, and fresh fish/ meat counters plus a bakery. we would recommend the family run restaurant near the villa on the corner -A Cocheira the food was authentic and service was excellent. The host Eunice was really helpful and even let us check out late which was amazing as our flight was early evening.
