Celebrity Ocean View Villa Samui

The view and the terrace with the infinity pool are really beautiful and the highlight of the property. The location offers a great panorama over the sea and surroundings. We also appreciated that a solution was found in the end.

The property does not fully match the expectation of a private villa, as some areas are shared or have restricted use (e.g. kitchen and living area). The property is not fully private, as the owner also lives in the house. This is important to know in advance, as it differs from the typical expectation of a private villa. The common areas are not air-conditioned and can be difficult to use during the day due to the heat. The bedrooms were very warm on arrival and the air conditioning needed time to cool the rooms. We would also recommend providing blankets, as these were not available. Additionally, we experienced slight eye irritation after using the pool.

A beautiful view with an amazing sunset. A grill at the top floor makes it even better! And clothes washing for a real cheap price.

Franco is the perfect host, and his villa is the perfect place to spend your vacation. It's exactly as described and pictured. Franco also helps organize trips, cruises, and even laundry, which you can leave in the morning and have ready, washed, and ironed by evening. It's worth mentioning that a lovely lady keeps the villa tidy every day, making the beds and changing towels every few days. The pool is also cleaned twice a week. It's hard to imagine a better place to spend your free time than the upper terrace with its pool and beautiful views. I highly recommend it, and I'm sure I'll be back.

We had the best time in Celebrity Ocean View Villa. The house is really big, it is super super clean and the owners and the personnel are the nicest! The rooftop pool is so great with the best views! 10/10 would highly recommend!

The villa is amazing, super spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless clean and the pool is just brilliant. Franco and his wife are brilliant hosts. They are super friendly and helpful, they help us make bookings for trips, receive and return our rented motorbikes etc. They have made our stay so much more convenient and easier. There really is nothing I can fault about the villa, it's very well located near the shops and markets. We rented motorbikes during our stay, it made travelling around the island so much easier.

A beautiful villa with lots of space and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. Franco and his wife were great hosts and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their is also daily maid service.

A new more modern power shower would have been nice to have, but facilities were fine. Perhaps have the maid service every other day so you have a little more privacy.

All the basic services that you expect for the price were not there : no daily water bottles (knowing that the water there is not drinkable), no slippers (while you are not allowed to keep your shoes in the villa), we were given only 1 bottle of water for 9 days to brush the teeth), no laundry machine (while this villa can welcome 10+ people), no iron, 1 toilet paper without spare one (we ran out of toilet paper at 9pm so we had to find a solution as the housekeeper would change it only the next day, but not convenient at all, they could put at least 2 in the bathroom), we could only use the top floor kitchen which is not convenient when you do groceries (which need to be carried on 3 floors, no elevator of course). They never said this would be part of the price, so it's not misleading, but be careful if you expect those as it won't be there. So overall the villa is nice, but really not worth this price.

Franco & Noi were excellent friendly hosts and Ying kept the apartment very clean throughout our stay. Franco was very accommodating and responded quickly to our requests. We had several people arriving and departing on different days/times and he helped us organise and schedule taxis in a timely manner. The villa was clean, big and spacious with a stunning infinite pool overlooking great views.

Very minor cons - there is no air-conditioning in the main living area (however, this was noted in the booking but would suggest installation for extra comfort!), wifi dipped in and out (assuming this could be due to location) and the shower pressures in the rooms could be better. When 2 showers were used at the same time, 1 shower effectively almost had no running water coming out. However, we raised this concern with Franco and we were informed that the 2 rooms used the same piping/water system and we made sure we didn't use it at the same time to prevent this issue arising again.
