The host was fast to reply to our requests, the house was big and clean

Unfortunately, this wasn't a nice experience to us. The internet didn't work at all during our stay and one of us had to do some home office. It seems no investment is done in the house to maintain it in good condition, the door handle from the bathroom came out in my hand when I opened it. The house was extremely cold, there were only two heaters, while we were sleeping in 4 different rooms. It was only possible to have 2 or 3 showers before the hot water would finish, then we would need to wait again. As the house is cold, it would have been nicer to leave wood for the guests to light the fire and warm the place ( we tried to buy, but couldn't find in the local supermarkets), it was suggested to take from outside, but the wood from there couldn't be used (large or wet from the rain). There were no coffee mugs for tea or coffee. The outside area of the main entrance gets completely flooded with the rain, which can be very dangerous for slipping and having an accident. My bed didn't have a proper bed linen, but instead it was a sort of flannel fleece used as one. Finally, we understand that we need to take the bin out, but there should be a place outside the house that we could leave it, but instead we need to bring the bin inside our car, to drop it at the end of the road.
