Villa Solarium

Location perfect proximity to Carvoeiro - those with difficulty walking may struggle. Host fantastic - met us to deliver keys. Walked us round the property on arrival. Homemade biscuits/bread/wine/water left for arrival. Checked everything was okay part way through holiday. Very modern Living/dining Room. Kitchen good. Great size pool.

Steep steps to pool. Sun loungers are a bit tired No clean/towel change/bed change through 10 day stay.

Firstly, Carla is immensely welcoming and a very helpful hostess. The villa itself is beautiful, bigger than we anticipated and was absolutely immaculate including the pool which was cleaned several times during our week long stay. Overall an absolute treat - especially the pool and the large upstairs master bedroom with ensuite and private balcony. The area is lovely and quiet with good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk.

Location, space, comfort

We arrived later than planned due to a flight cancellation. There wasn’t even a bottle of fresh water or milk in the fridge. The kitchen was good but very lacking in suitable equipment/utensils. I had to request a housekeeping visit despite it being a 10 night stay. It was carried out, but I should not have had to ask.

Lovely Quiet area, easy walking to the town with all its restaurants, bars, shops and the beach, taxis easy and cheap if you’d rather not walk. Property is lovely and clean with amazing pool and garden!

I had a lovely stay here with my family, the Villa is beautiful and very spacious. The pool is the perfect size and there is a great outdoor area for eating, BBQs and relaxing. The kitchen has everything needed for making meals and there are multiple bathrooms/toilets throughout the villa. There are balconies with tables and chairs for eating/sitting outside. The beds and sofas were very comfy and we slept very well here. You can see the sea from the property. The town and restaurant square are a short walk with lots of variety. Thank you for a pleasant experience, I would highly recommend staying here.

We had no problems with the walk into the town/to the beach ourselves, but for the elderly or disabled it may be difficult as the walk includes a hill or steps.

Great location it was super spacious and clean! Very comfortable beds

Would benefit from a fridge by the pool and more fridges in the house to accommodate 8 people.

The property is beautiful and in a great location. We walked to town everyday. you can walk back uphill or take an Uber which was very easy. The pool was clean and the kids loved it. Carla met us the first day and was great! Would definitely stay again.

There was nothing not to like.
