Casas do Morgadio

Loved the private apartment style living but still the amenities of a great hotel. The breakfast was incredible, and the hosts were extremely hospitable - letting us try their homemade wine!

Of all the places we stayed in the Azores, this was our absolute favorite. Raquel was an utterly fabulous host who attended to our every need while still giving us a sense of privacy and space. The flats are beautifully designed and appointed, with an eye on quality furnishings and finishings. They are spacious and everything you could need was included to cater for yourself during your stay. The bed was divine, as were the linens. The space itself is quiet and you will be amazed by the number of birds you hear - even given their numbers in the Azores! Guests can wander the grounds and there is a pool that can be enjoyed as well. The town is walking distance; the sea and tidal pools are a bit farther. Parking is easy and near the accommodation; cars are probably necessary for staying in this space. Overall, we could not recommend this property more highly and will definitely return next time we're in Terceira!

This is a gem. A beautiful, quiet, extremely comfortable and stylish property, in peaceful surroundings. Incredibly well hosted with lovely touches such as the breakfast basket and the chic crockery. This is a perfect relaxing location to use as a base to explore the island.

That we had to leave. My partner and I were having genuine conversations about how we could live here permanently!

Beautiful hidden gem! We really enjoyed our stay with Raquel. The house was very comfortable, equipped with everything you need surrounded by lots of green and gardens! We spend 10 days with our baby boy and she provided everything we need, was very helpful and prepared us a big nice breakfast every morning and the bed is very comfortable. Despite the weather at this time of the year the stay was very very nice and if you come here during spring or summer time it gotta be a little place of paradise. Thanks a lot Raquel!

The little houses are located on the property of the owner, where they produce their own wine and grow fruit trees. The bungalows are separated from each other, offering lots of privacy. We loved the decor style of the house, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. In the morning, a healthy breakfast from local products is prepared by the host and delivered to the house. The location is perfect to discover the island, natural pools and the ocean are within walking distance as well as several great spots to visit. We felt super welcome at Casas do Morgadio and wished we could have stayed longer.

If you look for the perfect holidays, this is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the island. It is a WONDERFUL PLACE....The house is more than beautiful. It was perfectly clean and everything was new. It is really quiet and has a nice enviroment....and the fresh breakfast is greatttttt......the swimming pool is as beautiful as you can see in the pictures.....I can only recommend to book this house if you come to Terceira and want to relax and have a perfect holidays. Raquel was really nice with us and was always thinking on taking care of us

Everything - since the attention of the owner to the guests, to the breakfast and how it's delivered and presented, with local and fresh products, to the facilities and the villas perfectly decorated and super confortable.

Absolutely everything was perfect. I would live in one of these villas haha - modern design, clean, cozy, quiet, and absolutely felt luxurious. And the owners are so so sweet and go above and beyond to help you feel comfortable... Not to mention the breakfast is fantastic! When I come back to Terceira I'm definitely staying here again. Hands down the best lodging I've ever experienced and I travel a lot!
