Location was good. Clean, quiet, pool, air conditioning. Good communication.

Limited mugs, and spoons.

The quiet area, close to the beach, very nice garden and pool with bathroom facility.

Old fashion interior, low equipped kitchen, humidity inside.

Amazing outdoor space and pool

A little dated inside and a drainage smell in the bathroom. Black mould in tile grout and in bottom of shower. It would benefit from a new shower screen which is wobbly and hard to close. If the above issues were rectified we would come again. We did have a lovely stay, surrounded by established lemon trees and the kids particularly loved pool. The pool is unheated but the children were still happy to swim. There were lots of mosquitos when we went (October) I recommend packing a high quality DEET repellent. We discovered an electric mosquito zapper light towards the end of our stay, it would have been very useful to have this from the start. There is a very friendly stray cat who visits the villa who my children wished they could take home!

Nice house and exceptional outdoor area with great pool

The pool

The disgusting shower with no hot water, which was dreadful considering the price we paid for this villa. There were 6 bins to separate everything out but all the instructions were only in Italian. Considering it's an international rental I would have thought someone could take the time to leave a laminated translation. I spent a whole morning translating it so we didn't do anything wrong and the bins weren't collected once during our 10 day stay. They were all piled up outside the villa wall. How dirty the area around the pool was which was then carried on our feet into the house. Someone came to chlorine and clean the pool every other day but never cleaned the area around the pool which had red dust all over it. There was no shade after 4 pm on the veranda area so you had to be inside. The very basic kitchen and utensils etc. We were there 10 days and a cleaner never came to clean the house or change the sheets and towels. There were no swimming towels for the pool, just house towels.

The swimming pool is great. Good range of kitchen pans and utensils. Syracuse and Noto are close by with a car.

We visited in May and the area was very quiet. There is a train station close by (this is partly why we chose the place) but there were no trains stopping.

No disheasher, poorly equipped (few cutlery, plates etc), like 20 kinds of furniture

loved the pool, size of the house, outdoor veranda, hammock in the garden. Comfortable beds although pillows too big. Ease of contact with hosts. Well equipped kitchen and washing machine. Pool was well maintained and cleaned whilst we were there. Local beach lovely with shallow, clear water - very busy, but it is August. Can imagine this is a great location. and place to stay if you have a car to visit some of the other cities and sites.

Rickety garden tables and garden furniture was uncomfortable - shame as such a beautiful setting. Also, quite expensive extra charge for late check out until 1pm at €100. Local beach is lovely and sun beds available but in the evening the place dies a bit with limited choice for restaurants. Local village, Cassibile, is apparently a little livelier but without a car quite difficult to get to, especially as taxi quoted at €30 one way ( for a 3k distance).

A beautiful villa, full of Sicilian charm and character, in a really peaceful location. The pool was fabulous, and a great size. The garden and pool area were lovely with different places to sit, including a furnished terrace to have your meals outside. The villa was very clean and had everything you needed. We enjoyed eating out as well as using the kitchen in the villa. We discovered a few restaurants and enjoyed good meals, including one on the beach with great seafood. We also enjoyed going to the local bakery and local shop. We travelled around Sicily by train and arrived at the villa by train, it’s just a 15 minute walk from the station, there’s a little bit of a hill on the way up to it. We also used the train later during our stay to visit Siracusa and Ortiga, which are both worth a visit. Would highly recommend this villa and would definitely return.

Only a very minor thing, but there was only one teaspoon and the cutlery wasn’t too great. Also maybe to have a local information book or folder in English.
