Villa Melek Paradise

The hotel is situated in a very good location, close to the city centre, at a walking distance. It was comfortable and spacious. The little pool is a good addition to the villa. Very safe place to leave all your stuff all day/night. Staff is absolutely amazing. The owners are brilliant. The food is good. Good value for money. Air conditioning throughout, if you like it on (I didn’t use it much as I can’t stand air conditioning). There is a socket in the hotel to charge electric scooters. You will definitely see sea turtles in that river, everyday.

The hotel needs some TLC. There was a horrible smell coming from the toilet in my room, by which I got some bleach to pour down the toilet, and it masked the smell. My daughter had a fall one night, after a lovely family evening meal, as the staff left a hose pipe right at the entrance; no lighting, so we couldn’t see a thing. The hose pipe was back there, in the same spot with no lighting a night after, again. Be aware! She hurt herself, quite badly actually, and for our surprise there wasn’t a first aider or a first aid kit available at the hotel (good job, I’m a nurse). The banister rail in my room is coming off the wall, and it can be dangerous, especially if you’re drunk or have small kids (not my case, but be aware). They will not provide tea towels. Emergency lights may disturb your sleep.

Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen, der private Pool war nicht sauber da die Pumpe nicht lief. Der Boden war teilweise dreckig und die Mülltonne vor der Tür war voll. Auf Aufforderung passiert erst was.

Nice plunge pool in garden. We had a 2 bedroom Villa and what was unique was 2 staircases leading to each bedroom and bathroom so perfect for 2 couples or for a family. Breakfast was nice and all staff were very helpful especially the cleaners. Location was great .. on the river and a lovely 15 minute walk into town. We didn’t spend much time in the villa but if we did there could have been more kitchen supplies.. for example a tea towel, sponge, soap. Overall great value for money.

Location is perfect, apartment very well laid out and overall excellent value for money.

The management policy could do with attention. I needed a late check out, which admittedly was my error, I normally book the additional night when I’ve a night flight. In order to get the additional night I ended up booking a 2nd villa for the minimum 4 nights. Whilst the cost was minimal, it just all seemed a bit OTT when all I Wanted was access for 10 hours 🤷‍♀️Had to go through central booking who could not be moved, 4 nights or nothing….
