Villa KayaHan Göcek

For a family of 5 with children there was no better choice. Spacious villa with 4 separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom and wc. Downstairs extra wc extra. Spacious kitchen with living room and fitted kitchen. Pool generous and accessibility to town on foot for 20 walks or 4 mins by car.

We did not find a dish towel, or basic items like salt or oil could be available so that one does not have to buy whole packs for a few days, but in principle this should already be on the tenant's shoulders.

Spacious, open plan. Very clean. Quiet location. Good parking. Safe. Good Wi-Fi. Host very responsive and came to help us sort out an issue.

Electric socket hanging off the wall in the bathroom (previously mentioned by guests). Kitchen cupboards not closing. Several broken ornaments around and broken door handles on one wardrobe. Could have information about things to do/visit in the area. Needs a few matching mugs for the western visitors and a toaster would have been nice as the oven took forever to toast bread :)

It was very homely

this object is more then comfortable! very cosy, so much space. We were six and meet only if we want :-) nice public area with place for dinner and taking sunbathes, clear swimming pool. fully equiped kitchen, everything works well. Not far from villa several supermarkets with all the necessary

The location was nice, far away from the crowd on the edge of Göcek.

The kitchen equipment was very limited and not up to date.

Very modern furnishings, well decorated throughout. The sofas in the lounge area were stylish and comfortable. Wifi worked well at all times. Lovely pool area and sunbeds. Water pressure was good throughout the villa. Quiet area and not too far from shops.

The kitchen didnt have a toaster or microwave. Also, there was not a very big selection of glasses and utensils. No pool/beach towels (but I should have checked before I booked).

Been visiting Turkey for many years but this was our first time both staying in a villa and staying in the Göcek area. The villa is beautiful with a modern stylish interior (although do not wear your socks going up the marble/stone stairs…take care!) and the pool was fantastic. There is a nice shaded canopy with a nice swing chair in which I spent many relaxing hours. Every room is air conditioned and the units are very effective at maintaining a comfortable temp. The host Kamil was very responsive over WhatsApp and check in was hassle free. Access to the villa is gained from the pool area via a lockable gate and there js a space to park a car comfortably. I would definitely recommend hiring a car, and a crossover/SUV one at that (we had a Mokka and it did great) as some of the roads are a bit rough. The main eating/shopping area of Gocek is 25 mins walk away or a 5 min drive; and there is ample street parking. The shopping area of Gocek is beautiful, in terms of restaurants I highly recommend Natural Restaurant which is in the main area and then Joy which is a 10 min walk down to the marina area. Blue Restaurant also had good food but the service wasn’t the best. Outside of the main shopping area, there is a supermarket 5 min walk from the villa (Sec Market) which was very well priced and cheaper than shops in the main area, especially for alcohol. We did a buggy trip which included a trip to SeaMe beach. We found it good value at £58 each, which includes admission to the beach (which is private with paid entrance), and the beach itself is stunning.

Mainly, having to leave! In hindsight we wished we had stayed for 10 days as the 7 days flew by! I have some minor flaws: The Beko TV coupled with the 5G-powered WiFi were unbearably slow to use YouTube. Made evening TV almost impossible. WiFi coverage is also poor on the second floor. I recommend getting a travel eSIM (I personally used Holafly) as it will be a lot cheaper than your own provider roaming charges. Only 4 sun loungers - not a problem for us personally as our party was 4 people, but if you had the villa at max 8 capacity it could be a challenge. Kitchen - could have done with some big glasses (e.g pint sized) - the glasses were all small. The knives were also really inadequate for the job General maintenance - loose sockets/taps around the villa , missing sofa legs, and a paint finish suggesting masking tape doesn’t exist in Turkey The twin rooms shower on the first floor also had a failed seal on the enclosure ensuring the rest of the floor was soaked with every use In fairness a couple of the above is just me being really picky, I loved my stay here and would definitely return regardless, but if the above was addressed my score would be 10/10.
