Villa della Pigna

Beautiful location with wide views of mountains and sea, and feels private without being miles from anywhere. Bedrooms and bathrooms all nice. Lovely pool and outdoor area. Kitchen well equipped and bbq was very helpful! Scopello village was a 10/15 min walk (uphill, would be hard in high summer) up the road, and a great supermarket and cafe were even closer. The nature reserve is a 15 minute drive away and was stunning with vast fields of wild flowers in early May and multiple trails of different difficulties, and several little coves and beaches for a swim. Several other beaches nearby too.

Only one set of keys and they were the only way to open the electric gate or pedestrian side gate, which made things a bit tricky to have separate plans - a code or second set of keys might be helpful. The white kettle in the kitchen seemed broken/faulty but there was a spare. Bbq was a bit old and worn out but didn't stop us using it multiple times. A wire brush would be a good addition to the bbq equipment so that people could clean it down after use!

Mooi huis, groot zwembad, voldoende ligstoelen, mooie kamers, rustig gelegen met prachtig uitzicht.

Als het slecht weer zou zijn, slechts 1 sofa aanwezig in keuken/living.

Der große Pool ist wunderschön mit toller Aussicht und gut gepflegt, auch die Außenanlage ist schön bepflanzt. Kleinere Anliegen wurden schnell und unkompliziert von den Gastgebern behoben. Sehr gute private Lage mit nahegelegenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Einige Dinge sind schon etwas abgenutzt (z.B. Sofa, WC Brille) und könnten einmal aufgefrischt werden.

Husets placering är fantastisk med utsikt över hav samt omgivningen som präglas av berg och natur. Terrassen är större än vad man kan tro efter att bara sett bilder. Huset är uppdelat i 3 våningar med 4 sovrum så även fast vi var ett stort sällskap så hade vi alla våra privata rum och ytor när vi ville krypa undan en stund. I området finns en supermarket med stort utbud trots sin begränsade yta. Gott om bra restauranger på gångavstånd. Bil rekommenderas dock om man har svårt att gå eller har små barn.

Tyvärr hade vi lite bekymmer med poolen som tog ett par dagar att åtgärda. Sedan hade vi önskat lite mer glas, porslin etc. Är man ett större sällskap så går diskmaskinen varm mellan måltiderna. Sängarna var hårdare än vad vi är vana vid, men detta upplever jag i alla medelhavsländer.

Beautiful view. Quiet, but close to supermarket and restaurant. Also close to excellent beaches. Perfect swimming pool. Eliana looked after us very well. She was so helpful and informative and answered all our questions.

In upstairs bedroom, nowhere to hang towels and a very small hanging area for clothes, with only 3 hangers.

Excellent location, with sea and mountain views and plenty of outside space. Spacious rooms, clean pool, on-site parking. Close to Scopello for restaurants, close to supermarket if cooking at home. Excellent service and support from the property administrators - thank you!

A bit more crockery would be useful, especially if hosting the maximum amount of guests. We were only 4 but soon ran out.
