South Point Villas Cerf Island

Michel was brilliant

Looking tired and in need of a cash injection.

Amazing place, very private as there are only four villas and they are not close. The view is outstanding.

Lots of space; stunning location; Michel and Christine are a great team. Snorkelling around SPV is brilliant, with use of canoes to go right around Cerf. Cache family villa where we stayed is perfect for a family of 6.

Very minor issues - blinds off the deck are heavy and not all of them are operational. Old gas braai, with not all nozzles working, but we got by and were grateful at least that there was this option. Big house to keep clean and not everything was sparkly, but for the most it was very presentable and it would not stop us coming again.

La ubicación, la paz, la tranquilidad y el ambiente en general son inmejorables. La casa Cache nos ha fascinado, unas vistas increíbles. La atención por parte de Michel y Christine ha sido óptima. Hay kayaks para recorrer la isla.

No hay nada que no nos haya gustado.

Ho alloggiato nella Sunrise. La villa, tutta in legno, è bellissima, dotata di tutti i confort, arredata con gusto, con una vista sull’oceano che toglie il fiato per la bellezza. Guardi il mare e sei in pace con il mondo.

La mancanza di percorsi interni all’isola, crea limitazioni negli spostamenti. Bisogna amare molto il contatto costante con il mare, non è per tutti.

Amazing people and wonderful place ❤️ Definitely will be back to this paradise. I'm in love with South Point Villas. So private. Michael and Christine are very friendly and such supportive people. I was staying 5 days and feel a bit not enough 😃 wish to stay more. Thanks a lot for everything 🙏

Michel and Christine were wonderful. The meal Christine had prepared and waiting on arrival was a lovely surprise. Michel was helpfulness personified. The views are beautiful and the villa (Cove) was well appointed. Getting slightly long in the tooth, but very comfy. Loved the chairs on the deck.

Do not stay at SPV in the SE monsoon. The wind howls straight at the villas. You’d better not be a light sleeper (seriously). It also means that kayaking is not possible. That in turn means you can’t get to St Ann Marine Park or other beaches on the island by kayak (a big selling point for me). My low rating reflects my disappointment in the difference between website promises and reality. Oh and I did ask by email beforehand about kayaking to the Marine Park considering the wind, and got a non-committal reply. Once I got there, the advice was a firm ”do not recommend”. The website should make it clear that, in the SE monsoon, you’re basically confined to your villa with access to only very poor snorkeling between Cerf and Cacheé islands. Of course you could pay €40 for transfer to Mahe, where you’d need a taxi if you don’t want to entertain yourself in a soul-less South African mall.

Myself and my wife went stayed here whilst on honeymoon. South point was our first stay in the Syschells before moving to a resort. We both regret not staying out whole trip at South point. It is private, the facilities are beautiful, the surrounding islands and reefs are out of the world beautiful. Compared to the reseorts which are all over commercialised and money grabbers, this place is on a completely different planet. We can highly recommend south point villas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, Odette always replied to our messages and questions very quickly and truthfully.
