Villa Il Galeone

Great location Very handy having a transfer to the port provided.

We stayed in the ground floor unit. Regarding kitchen items provided, there were multiple dirty and greasy items of cutlery and cookware that clearly had not been properly cleaned. Regarding the suite itself, air conditioning was very inefficient in the second sleeping area, and the room was very hot as a result. An odd smell filled the entire suite. There was a very old second shower room, which was not cleaned prior to our arrival with used soap bar in the shower and water sitting in the plugged basin. Wifi that worked very intermittently and poorly

Alojamiento con encanto con acceso directo al mar. Fueron muy amables desde la recepción hasta el personal de limpieza. Te llevan en un carrito hasta el hotel y luego hasta la villa. Aunque es compartida con tres apartamentos se siente privado porque cada una tiene su espacio de patio y entradas independientes. Las vistas del atardecer y el amanecer eran espectaculares y la cama muy cómoda. Uno de los alojamientos más especiales en los que nos hemos quedado.

We were so lucky with this find in Panarea, the hotel that manages the villa were available for help whenever you needed. We moved from one room within the villa to another over two nights and the team were so helpful with moving our luggage while we were out for the day. The hotel has an excellent restaurant we went to on the first night too. This room exceeded my expectations with lively crockery and cutlery, and the most stunning view I’ve ever seen. Even though there are two other apartments everyone has their own private space and you don’t feel overlooked. Opening the doors to the sea and sunrise in the morning was AMAZING!!!

The window with the view over Stomboli was insanely beautiful! We decided to cook tea here on our stay and eat looking over the sea as the sun set it was stunning! The staff were so helpful and friendly and available when we needed anything. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants from the villa with the first 5 minutes up stairs. Transfer from the port to the villa is included in the booking but you need to book island taxis for if you don’t want to walk- which are little gold buggy’s that’s whizz around the island. Gorgeous place! We wish we could stay longer! We stayed in both this room and the smaller sea view studio and both were wonderful!

The door to the balcony from the bedroom was stuck shut. I think the lock needs fixing, we still had a beautiful view from the window in the kitchen area.

Loved the window, the property had a great little private jetty to swim off and the location was fantastic. Helpful to have a kitchen to cook in too!
