Villa Il Galeone

The apartment itself is absolutely stunning. The views were just insane. Even better in person 😍 the interior is really cute! We absolutely adored this place and would stay again!

- The wifi sometimes didn’t work - there were no beach towels - they had a coffee machine with no coffee pods. When I asked about it they said they didn’t offer coffee and I would have to pay for pods to be delivered. I had them delivered twice and both times the pods weren’t correct and didn’t fit the machine. Doesn’t really make sense why they have a machine there in the first place. Offering coffee should be a regular thing in accommodation - when we checked out they didn’t offer a transfer back to the port and instead we had to pay €15 euros for a cab for a 5 minute drive. - the hot water in the shower was salt water not fresh water which was a bit odd

The house has direct access to the sea. Actually very rare in Panarea. Also direct view of Stromboli from the terrace.

The location was beautiful and Frederica was so lovely and helpful. It was about a 10-15 min walk to the port and shops

Nothing

The property location right on the water and the unimpeded view over to Stromboli was just amazing! Walking ten steps down to the jetty then diving into the cool clear waters was a wonderful way to start and end the day. The kitchenette and patio allowed us to cook and eat-in a couple of nights. A wonderful, relaxing three nights - we could easily have stayed a week or more!

aspects of the property are a little rustic, but for us, this all added to the charm and authenticity. Some might find the stairs and inclines a little challenging for the 10min ‘trek’ into the centre, others will welcome the exercise.
