Villa Almond

My family and I had an exceptional stay at Villa Almond. Directions to the Villa were well written out, Mario was easily available when I had questions, and Silvana the caretaker was always around to help…she even made me a delicious vegetarian dish one night. The Villa itself is well decorated and beautiful. The beds were so comfortable, which was very nice…and the ac was a lifesaver. The view and peacefulness here was very nice, too. Quick little drive over to city center and quick easy drive to white sandy beaches of Giardini Naxos. This villa is the perfect place to stay to enjoy this region. The hospitality and welcome of both Mario and Silvana are unmatched and I highly recommend Mario’s Villa Almond to everyone.

Beautiful house with amazing views, very clean, totally comfortable, nice and refreshing outdoor pool. Mario (the owner) and Silvana (the lady taking care of the house) are simply amazing, they organized everything for us and helped us with all details and recommendations on things to do, restaurants to go. Probably the best owners we have ever met!

great villa on the hills of Taurmina, nice pool, the hosts Mario and his helper Sylvia were terribly helpful. the pool is , very nice, great view of the city, the house is fully equipped. the only thing to look at is the need of a car in order to arrive there since the road to the villa is a bit challenging

Absolutely stunning property. AC in each room, poolside was spacious and got sun and shade at all different times of the day. Multiple places for meals around the garden and inside. Beds were in great condition as well - firm mattresses and lots of pillow options. We had access to all types of utensils and crockery needed, a washing machine even! Giovanna and Mario were the most hospitable and kind hosts we have ever experienced. They were thoughtful, always responded instantly to any enquires, and gave some amazing recommendations for restaurants / taxi companies etc. Giovanna is a very kind soul, and really went out of her way to make our holiday retreat the sublime experience it was.

Literally nothing! It was excellent.

The pool and garden area were spectacular and the balcony's all had incredible views.

The location, the views were amazing but it is a little tricky to get in and out of to visit other locations and is about a 16min drive into Taormina itself

Perfect perfect villa for a family with children. Tv in every bedroom and comfortable beds, plenty of extra blankets and towels. Amazing pool and facilities. The little touches such as free toiletries and towels were so thoughtful and both Mario and Giovanna (who lives next door) looked after us so well. Always at the end of a message to help us out with taxis etc and Giovanna even went to the supermarket for us as we didn't have a car 😃. Thank you so much Mario and Giovanna and we hope to see you again 😘

Everything!!!! This is the best place by far that we have stayed in Sicily - simply stunning. Sparkling clean with beautiful garden & swimming pool, set in the.mountains overlooking Taormina & Castelmola. Hosts Giovanna & Mario are amazing people & could not have been more friendly, kind & accommodating. We will be highly recommending the villa to the rest of our family 😀

Having to leave & go home to an Australian winter !!!!!

Beautiful villa with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. Giovanna was an excellent host who put extra effort in to make our stay superb. The private pool was very clean and a nice temperature in September.

Not a dislike but would be hard to get to without a car. Taxi from the villa to Taoromina cost €20-25.
