the location was to die for!! it was right by a beach and the house was so comfortable and easy to keep clean

a few stray cat fights but it was kinda entertaining honestly lol

Towels need replacing. Not absorbent and threads are fraying

The location is near the beach and in a relaxed, laid back, tranquil village with nice cafes. The villa is good for those who want to cook or BBQ as it comes with comprehensive cooking utilities. We didn't cook and ate at a good restaurant within 10 mins walking distance. All necessary amenities were provided including washer, dryer, detergent and toiletries etc. The windows have nets to prevent insects from coming in. We opened the windows to enjoy fresh and cool air and didn't use the aircon the whole night. They were designed with security in mind.

The material of towels were not v absorbent and felt uncomfortable to use. The bedsheets and blankets also didn't feel v comfortable as it probably was not natural materials. A change in towels, bedsheets and blankets would make a huge difference to the overall stay/impression of the resort. The step up (platform) to the bed could be a safety hazard in the middle of the night. I appreciate that the owner was at the resort to help open the door but he didn't reply my queries on 'Line'.

I had liked the English description promising two >bedrooms<. (To be fair, I liked some amenities; mosquito repellents, free toiletries etc.; also, the room was clean).

I didn't like the fact there were no >bedrooms< at all! There is only one living room with two beds in it separated by a light curtain. I was looking for privacy which I didn't get here and I ended up sleeping on an uncomfortable squeaking sofa every night. I don't like the fact the owner makes clients give a score of 10 points if they use the barbecue. I think the rating is high because of this. It is unfair to other owners who work genuinely hard to deserve a high score. I spend my life traveling and using Booking.com all the time and an accommodation like this would score lower (esp. because of inconvenient payment in cash for non-Japanese customers, confusing instructions on how to get there, stained bathtub, no instructions in English on how to turn the heating on/how to control the washing machine etc.)

Having Netflix on TV is a +, bed were very comfortable. Bring stuff because there is nothing around.

You get surprise that you have to pay by bank transfer.... So if you are foreigner forget it... The another method is to let cash on table... It would be better to advice the customer

Very spacious villa. Good provision of everyday comfort toiletries, necessities, well equipped kitchen. Nice big bathroom. Very responsive staff who replies to your query fast.

The beds are too soft for our comfort. The aircon unit is directly above the headboard of 1 bed. Makes sleeping uneasy with noise. We couldn't find unit 207 initially as the villa signage are all in Japanese.

The house was wider than expected and had a homely and intimate atmosphere. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, felt like a full memory foam mattress. All equipments were fresh and modern from the kitchen to the bathroom. It's a few steps from Kouri bridge and Kouri-jima so it's great for both full stay and sightseeing.

Seems like the jaccuzzi was slowly depleting water even tho the drain was closed. Maybe I missed something.
