SUMMER HOUSE TANGER

Très belle maison de famille transformée en chambre d'hôtes à la lisière de la médina ; accueil très chaleureux de notre hôte, qui nous a donné pleins de bons conseils pour la visite de la ville et ses environs ; grand merci à lui ; chambre rénovée avec goût, confortable et très calme ; la salle du petit déjeuner est tout simplement magnifique, meublée et transformée en "cabinet de curiosités 19eme"; petit déjeuner gourmand, copieux, varié en pains, confitures, fruits frais, oeuf à la demande, fromage frais; nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette maison et y reviendrons sans hésitation lors d'un autre séjour à Tanger

This hotel is incredibly charming and beautiful inside and outside. It is very centrally located yet still quiet. The staff are very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great

Someone used to care for this place, as the decor is amazing.

Unfortunately now it’s being used to extract way too much money from guests. For 120/night in Morocco one expects top service and clean rooms at least. Instead there’s one person serving a half decent breakfast with an attitude, forget a welcoming check-in with information about the city, the shower has black mold and can’t be properly adjusted for a steady stream of warm water… maybe if the place would be 35€ per night it would be a good place, but not with that price tag. One can see that long time ago there was someone who cared and it was worth the price but those times are gone. Totally overrated here on booking, that’s the reason for only 2 stars from me.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse de notre hôte ainsi que ses conseils avisés. Le logis est idéalement placé à l'entrée de la médina tout à côté de petit Socco et de la légation américaine, il bénéficie d'une vue agréable sur le port et au loin les plages. Je recommande

Un tapis de bain anti-dérapant dans la baignoire.

L'accueil, le petit-déjeuner très complet, l'emplacement, idéal et à 2 pas du bord de mer, un sympathique rooftop. La décoration intérieure est exceptionnelle.

Il y a parfois un peu de bruit le soir tard, dans la cour qui est commune à l'établissement ainsi qu'au bâtiment d'à côté. Ma chambre était au rdc.

The location is great. One entrance comes out in the Medina and the other on a main road The host was so friendly and helpful. We were planning a day out and he helped us, there was another couple doing the same trip so he suggested we all go to get her and it would be cost effective. We had a great time. He was also kind enough to print our boarding passes as our airline was sending confusing messages The rooms are cosy and the hotel has so much character There is a lovely terrace with a beautiful view of the marina. You can watch the sunrise

There are a lot of steep steps. The bathroom was small so no hooks to hang out towel, not really too much of an issue but would have been handy
