Zonnendal Family Home in charming Kalk Bay

Location to Kalk Bay and Cape Town was fantastic

This house is absolutely brilliant! From the minute we arrived we felt very well looked after. The home is very well equipped and was neat as a pin. Super spacious and cozy at the same time. We cooked lovely meals in the gorgeous kitchen and the kids spent ages on the jungle gym.

It would be ideal if they put a gate on the other side of the house so that kids can't access the pool by walking around the house. This house is really wonderful, but if i had to choose one small let down it would be location. It is on a busy road in Kalk bay but really it didnt bother us much - just to note if you want a super quiet and peaceful spot then chilling on the front porch wont be for you. The noise didnt bother us otherwise at all - couldnt hear it from the bedrooms or the rest of the house. PLUS if you want to be walking distance to the best bakery, harbour, shops etc it is a small "price to pay" :)

The house is spacious, lovely decorated, well equipped and at a great location. We loved the pool and the playground.

The house is infested with cockroaches. The manager was very responsive and mentioned that pest control came over 3 weeks before our arrival and they've send them again during our stay but we've seen cockroaches each night of our stay.

Like the spacious old home, with wooden floor and combustion stove.

Such a beautiful old home that is tastefully furnished. It has everything that you could need. Great location close to town. Underfloor heating was a nice bonus!
