Great stuff and location

The furniture little bit old

We were a party of 8 and loved staying at Dazzling View, which exceeded our expectations. The property is up a quiet residential street and an easy taxi ride or walk to the main marina and entertainment areas. The management team are so friendly and accommodating, and quickly addressed and fixed any issues that we had. The property comes with a housekeeper every other day to keep everything ship shape. We took the master suite which was spacious and had a separate dressing area and large bathroom. The views are amazing from this elevated property and there is so much space for socialising, including a couple of terraces, a pool deck and a Braai room. There was plenty of cutlery/crockery for a large group. There is a large garage, which was big enough to accommodate our big minivan. There is also solar power which meant we were not impacted by loadshedding at all. Very relaxed and safe place to stay where we would love to stay again.

There is no safe at the property. One of the bedrooms is not as well located as the others, lacking a view, so just need to agree who will take that room. Some elements are dated, but we hear that the property is about to undergo an update, so hopefully it will be even more spectacular.

The view was spectacular

There was no sink in the kitchen. On offer was the possibility of a chef cooking your dinner. If this is ever chosen the chef must be amazed that the nearest sink is in the utility room, 3 8 metres away. All of our other properties during this holiday(4) provided dressing gowns, slippers and tissues. These were noticeable by their absence. The property could do with some care as all of the curtains were torn a little, and would not pull fully across. Black out curtains would be good. We had a very stormy period of weather when we had to to locate and fix a loose door and open window in addition to bringing in the many loose cushions. More care needs to be taken of us as guests and the property itself.

This property has the most amazing views

On arrival the property looks exceptional. The views take your breath away. Once settled you start to see little things that need working on such as paint finishes not to a high standard for such a property, covers on door handles falling off. Also the property does not have air conditioning apart from the main bedroom and in the height of summer in SA, it could really do with this. We did ask for fans as there is only one to share between the other 4 bedrooms but no fans were available.
