Khandizwe Kruger Villa

The place is huge with amazing terrace and garden which faces the river. We set up picking next to it and saw multiple animals including elephants who passes by the properties. Safari gate entrance is 10-15min away and have tours (with pickups) from the property.

Payment at the property (bank transfer, card or cash) makes it a bit complicated as it would be easier just to pay it all online, but not a deal breaker.

Blissfull location on the Crocodile River. Sitting on the patio at sunset watching hippo emerging from the river with her baby was good for the soul. Many other hippos as well honking into the evening. We saw waterbuck and other small deer in front of the house and 2 elephants grazing 25 metres from us. We watched a huge herd of about 30 elephants with babies on the Kruger side of the river for about 2 hours while they drank water, bathed, played and grazed. Fabulous and homely villa with Faith cooking breakfast every morning while we were watching the elephants. Large pool overlooking the river and a lovely outside BBQ area that we used on 2 evenings. Thanks for the charcoal! Communication on whatsapp was easy with Faith our cook as well as Amanda the owner. Will most definitely return and can highly recommend this villa.

Suggest the owner invest in some electricity backup or at least a camping gas cooker in case of power outage so one can at least cook water for coffee. Power was out for 12 hours during the day and although we kept ourselves busy reading and watching animals, the staff was under pressure to prepare breakfast without electricity. Faith did her best to cook on the fire outside which we appreciated! The owner also tried her best to get answers from municipality. These things happeno. It did not take away anything from our lovely experience

Super schöne Villa mit fantastischem Garten direkt am Fluss. Bei Ankunft wartete ein Elefant auf der anderen Uferseite. Ansonsten waren ein Krokodil und viele Hippos zu sehen. Die Villa war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betten waren bequem. Außerdem wird ein hervorragendes Frühstück serviert.

Large colonial house at a breathtaking location at Crocodile river, on the banks of the Kruger National park. Very close to the southern Malelane gate. Great swimming pool and large garden. Very friendly and capable staff. Gardener offered to wash our car for free.

Overall, the house clearly has some back-maintenance. Stairs to the garden are worn/loose. Bathrooms are somewhat outdated. Thatched roof looks somewhat run down. Electrical wiring/fencing around the garden is broken down (our only line of defence versus Kruger wild animals)! Value for money hurt by back-maintenance in combination with firm price.

The location off the house is really awesome. We have seen all kind off animals when we were sitting in the garden. Some spring boks even game into the garden. The breakfast made by Faith was really fantastic. You can ask here anything to make and she will do it for you. The house is nice and clean done by Rose. We had an fantastic stay in this villa.

The bathroom was very old and some parts realy need replacement. But still it is cleaned properly by Rose
