Vacation Home Villa Oleandra

We stayed in this wonderful house for 9 nights (family of four with 2 teenagers). The house is really lovely and is in a great location - 3 minutes walk to a beach, 10 minutes walk to the main town along a lovely seafront walkway, and 10minutes walk in the opposite direction to Zlatni Rat beach. The house was perfect for us - a room upstairs for each of our daughters, and we were in the separate room downstairs (separate entrance on the lower level). If we had younger children, this separation might not have been so practical, but for us it worked out perfectly. There are two showers and plenty of towels. The downstairs shower is a bit cramped and wouldn't be great if you are very tall. However, the shower was strong and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils and pans. Having the choices of a hob, oven and microwave was really useful. Overall the house was very clean. It was obvious that the cleaning team had been thorough. There was a slightly musty smell in the downstairs room, but once we were using the space it was ok. Having a pool at the house was great - best of both worlds with the beach nearby. There are plenty of chairs and loungers on the terrace and it was such a lovely place to relax at any time of the day. Some reviewers have mentioned that you are visible from the roadway, but there is plenty of tree cover and this was not a problem for us at all. There is parking at the house - it does require some skill to negotiate in and out of it if you have a long car (we had a Skoda Octavia) but it was fine. Ana, the host, had advised of the location of a nearby alternative parking lot if preferred, but we did not need to use it. Ana was helpful and very responsive. She gave tips on local restaurants and sights. Overall we loved our stay here, and would definitely recommend it.

It would have been nice to have a little more privacy from the road, everyone walking past was looking in at us.

Very clean on arrival and nice modern finish to the villa. Perfect location 1 minute walk from the promenade between Bol and Zlatni Rat. Owner very responsive to messages and helpful. Clean towels provided half way through our stay which was a welcome surprise.

Not much negative to say. The shower in the basement annex is a little on the small side but, aside from that, it was a very nice compact little villa for our group of 6 to stay in. Any previous issues with ants coming inside have seemingly been dealt with. We sprayed around windows and external doors to be sure on arrival but had no issues at all.

Great location, very friendly and responsive staff, clean, pleasent simple decorum, kids loved the pool🥰

Getting in and out of the parking was tricky since the street is very narrow.

The position of the villa in Bol couldn’t have been better with proximity to the beach, town centre and restaurants. Having our own pool was great too

The villa was very basic and outdoor furniture quite different to the photos. What really impacted our trip was the infestation of the villa with ants. They were all over my bed during our first night and this was with no food in the room. The owner did try to rectify this the next day with various traps and sprays and further clean which helped a little, but there were still lots ants including as you showered. We expected an extra bed to be made up but Infact sheets were just left for us to put over sofa. Broken toilet and fixture in bathroom.
