Villa Lantana

The host was so friendly, responsive to the needs, always available, never declined a phone call nor a message. Well trained staff. The house is in a good condition and surely safe and clean. You can have a real relaxed and comfortable stay in this house.

The house is away from everything. No supermarket, no grocery shops, no coffee shops or restaurants. You have to go for a long drive to reach anything. Even visits or sites are away. This house is ideal to spend your stay inside the house and enjoy the pool that is well maintained.

The location is great, very close to Lagoa de Óbidos, super peaceful and perfect to relax. The rooms were spacious, with amazing views, and the living room was cosy and welcoming! The kitchen is very nicely equipped, too.

It is clearly a house perfect for summer; in winter or colder temperatures, it accumulates a lot of humidity, and even the AC isn't able to work through it.

A very bad smell in the house which was resolved but you could get the smell every time we came back to the house, also a leak in the ceiling which dripped though the light for 3 days. We did report it but no one came to repair it. We also had ants in the kitchen everyday despite cleaning it thoroughly. No dryer and the weather was very wet so we couldn’t dry our jackets when they got wet. Beds were uncomfortable.

Loved this big house, it has everything you need for resting, bbq, swimming pool, private area. Neighbors are very quiet. Manager was great and helped us with every request! Thank you

Everything was good

We usually rent properties in this area. The location is peaceful. The property is beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with all main amenities. We had an issue the first day that was solved quickly. Communication is great.

Comparing to other properties in the area, it needs a little bit more attention to detail.

The villa itself was nice with plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped and the open space downstairs is a nice hub. We used the bbq for food which added a nice touch in the evening.

Be ready to spend a ton on taxis. There is nothing nearby. No cafes, no shops and at least half an hour from the nearest main beach. You can walk 15 mins for a small strip of beach though. Even still, the villa is on the South side of the lagoon which has hardly anything there. All restaurants, bars and shops are in the North. You can't even buy an ice cream without taking a taxi. Its self catering, so be ready to spend €40 for every trip to the supermarket. Make sure you get your groceries on your first trip or taxi up from the airport (€120 each way from Lisbon airport). You will end up spending €70 a day just going to the north side of the lagoon every day. Taxis are hard to get with only a few individual drivers (no Uber or Bolt). The main learning...check Google map before you book anywhere.

Spacious house that was terrific size for my family. Children loved the pool. Very clean!
