Rawana Mountain View Homestay

Lovely owner.

Very nice place and nice owner. Rooms are clean and cosy. Great view. We also had amorning ride to Adam’s Peak with the owner. It’s just 10 minutes away walk from the path to the Ravana Cave.

Clean facilities. Shower was a western style , nice hot water and easy to use. Friendly staff, available to take you to town in their tuk for 500lkr which is very fair. Lots of other tuks available around the corner for 800lkr and close enough to town, but cannot walk there.

Room is a bit dark even with open curtains. (Only one side can be opened as the other side is straight onto the main road). Shower is situated in the middle of the bathroom and drain is far away so bathroom is consistently wet. Could use a few more mats and bathroom things like soap dispenser. Would be nice to have some milk for the breakfast tea also.

Beautiful views of the hills and river. We were welcomed with smiles, the hosts are very kind and helpful. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was very clean. They offer to drop and pick you up from town in the Tuktuk they have. It’s in a great location. Our breakfast was delicious and a good amount. We enjoyed our stay in Ella and this accommodation made it even better :)))))

No AC but there are fans

Review: Amazing Stay in Ella I had an absolutely wonderful 4-day stay in Ella. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a lovely warm shower. The breakfast was outstanding – we even had the chance to enjoy it a few times surrounded by monkeys and other fascinating wildlife, which added such a unique touch to our mornings. The hospitality was exceptional; the host’s father was always ready to pick us up from the town, which made getting around so convenient. Their kindness and warm welcome truly made this stay unforgettable. I’m going to miss their incredible hospitality. Highly recommend!
