Pondok Gadri Villa Ubud

Una villa increible, el personal muy atento y muy buen trato, no nos falto de nada. Una casa acogedora con una picina perfecta y la cocina y la habitacion muy equipada. Muy recomendable.

El alojamiento es tal y como se ve puede ver en la foto. Es realmente bonito y nuevo todo. Son muy amables y te ofrecen transporte a otros lugares o taxi.

The staff are amazing, came to help us at 1am in the morning and transferred us and our luggage via 4 mopeds. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful

Our stay at this villa in Bali was quite mixed. The location is outside of central Ubud, which is nice if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful setting away from busy roads. During the day, the villa feels calm and relaxing. Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The most serious was discovering bed bugs on the last day, which was extremely distressing. This happened after our sheets had been changed, not before. Had we noticed them earlier, we would have checked out immediately. Cleanliness was inconsistent. The dishes were dirty on arrival and had to be rewashed, and the villa gets dirty quickly, so daily cleaning would be strongly recommended rather than every second day. There was also no bottled water provided for brushing teeth. The bed had a very firm mattress, which may suit some guests, but we found it uncomfortable. Only one pillow per person was provided. In addition, the bathroom bum gun was leaking constantly, leaving the bathroom floor wet and slippery. Access to the villa is also something to be aware of. Car drop off is at the top, with about a 15 minute walk down to the villa. This is manageable during the day, but at night it feels unsafe due to the lack of lighting and unclear paths. Ride apps like Grab and Gojek also direct drivers to the wrong road, which caused repeated confusion. On a positive note, the host and staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and accommodating. They helped transport us by scooter to and from the car park during check in and check out, which we really appreciated given the access challenges. Overall, while the setting is peaceful and the staff were lovely, the accommodation itself was only okay. The bed bug issue in particular overshadowed the entire experience, and several cleanliness and maintenance issues need to be addressed before we could recommend staying here.
