Sunny Sun Ubud Private Villa

Absolutely everything! This was one of the best villas we have ever stayed. Honestly I couldn’t recommend it anymore. Service was amazing! Breakfast was amazing! Especially the floating breakfast was extra special l. The stay was unreal. We will definitely be returning thank you so much x

Nothing! Everything was extra special

Great service, lovely location and cute garden and pool. The host are exceptionally responsive and helpful with organising drivers, massages etc.

The neighbouring property was burning rubbish which smoked out our villas every afternoon, however it was bearable.

This villa is a gem and the host is just lovely - nothing was too much. The villa is gorgeous and the pool is fantastic, at night it was stunning. The place is really beautiful and very relaxing. You have everything you need, and we ordered breakfast a few days and that was nice too. Location is good in terms of there are a few nice sunset bars nearby overlooking the valley. Totally surrounded by nature and stars at night, so peaceful. Mosquito coils outside at night worked a treat as well as we had no mosquitoes during our stay.

We are keen walkers so it was okay, but it's a good 40 min walk to the town centre. The route is not pleasant, especially at night, so much better to stay here if you have a car/bike, or if you plan on getting taxis/bikes everywhere. Not much nearby. Bring earplugs because of all the sounds of nature - it gets loud. However, because the place was just so wonderful, I would recommend it big time and try not to let these little things put you off. I also think the cleaners could have done a slightly better job during our stay, but this wasn't really an issue.

Extremely private with a lovely infinity pool!

We were looking forward to a nice family vacation in ubud. However, after we returned to our room after the first day, $310 US dollars was missing from my purse. We had locked the room and the villa and the cash was in an envelope in my purse. The property doesn’t provide safe deposit boxes so that wasn’t an option. When confronted, management denied taking the cash. However we know for sure that it was there in my purse when we left and locked the room. The only people that accessed the room was management. We knew our CASH WAS STOLEN!!! We met the owner the next day and he wasn’t able to resolve the issue or return the missing cash. He then tried to force us to take all our belongings and leave early though we had already paid for our entire stay. We asked if he would refund us if he didn’t want us to stay and he said no. Then he tried to force our private guide and driver to take all our bags and have us vacate the premises. Appalling customer service and we felt extremely unsafe staying there. We were with small children too. They also advertised and confirmed floating breakfast but never provided it. Unfulfilled promises, false advertising and our safety felt compromised. DO NOT STAY HERE AT ANY COST!

Good sized villas with good amenities

The location is quite random and well away from the restaurants etc however there are facilities if you wish to cook for yourself.

This place is outstanding if you are looking for a private, spacious and super clean place. We travelled as a family including 2 toddlers and for us it was the perfect combination of traveling to Ubud (10-15min.) and having a super quite and laid back place to relax. We particularly liked the great private pool!
