Mandana Ubud Villa

Staff was incredibly helpful and kind, the facilities were modern and clean, the hotel looked just like in the pictures! The location was good because peaceful, not as hectic as Ubud but all points of interest were easily reachable.

There aren’t many attractions in the immediate area but we didn’t mind!

Mandana Villas are absolutely beautiful. The private infinity pool overlooks the rainforest/jungle and the view is breathtaking. You can really immerse yourself in nature in the beautiful secluded space. The room itself is clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is outdoors which we had not experienced before but we loved. Being in the jungle, you are going to encounter wildlife. We loved witnessing all the beautiful butterflies, interesting insects and slugs and of course our little frog and gecko friends! We used mosquito repellent on ourselves for outdoor time, but we rarely got bitten and it wasn't a problem for us at all in our villa. Mandana has a good in villa breakfast and main meal menu selection as well as floating breakfast option which was amazing. You have a full spa menu for treatments in your room. A daily shuttle to take you to the main district of Ubud centre and then pick you up to come back and they also offer day trip packages! All of the staff are so wonderful, kind friendly and caring! We loved speaking with them each day and they all made our stay seamless. A special shout out to Lily, the beautiful puppy dog who lives at reception!

The way the villa was set up truly touched my heart. It was the best place I stayed during my entire trip to Bali. The serene view and the sense of peace and privacy made it a truly special experience. I felt so at ease there, and it deeply enhanced my time in Ubud.

it is a little on the outside of ubud, and not much restaurants and shops in walking distance.

De locatie is prachtig. Je bevindt je midden in de jungle en bent helemaal alleen. Je geniet van volledige privacy. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Elke dag heb je ook recht op 1 gratis shuttle naar bv. Ubud centrum.

Wonderful breakfasts, and also lovely dinners. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant staff, very obliging. Always available for any help you needed.

As an older person I found the necessity to use deep steps, with no handrail a real fear. Location is such that you needed a driver to go anywhere, not close to shops, restaurants etc. We stayed for 12 nights, so a shorter stay would have been perfect.
